Add Chris Brown to the list of celebrity conspiracy theorists.

The troubled R&B star offered his personal insight into the Ebola outbreak, writing on Twitter, "I don't know ... But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S--t is getting crazy bruh."

He has 13.7 million followers, many of whom disagreed with his assessment — or just wanted to poke fun at the "Don't Think They Know" singer.

Brown, who served 108 days in jail earlier this year for violating his probation related to his conviction of felony assault against Rihanna, seemed to rethink sharing his opinion, posting soon after, "Let me shut my black ass up!"

Well, not so much. "I say what I want. If u don't like it.... 'SUCK MY ASS' (little Asian girl voice)," he added with a link to this video of a young girl saying those very words.

Despite his detractors, Brown's statement resonates with some of the Twitterverse. His post has nearly 30,000 retweets and 22,000 favorites.

The Ebola outbreak has led to more than 4,000 deaths. West Africa has been hit the hardest, but there have been cases in Spain as well as the U.S., where one person has died and a nurse treating him has since tested positive.
