New couple alert? Or just two pals hanging out on a Saturday night, dressed to the nines, and looking like they want to spend the rest of their lives staring into one another's eyes (except that they're just friends)?

We don't know, but we do know that 2 Broke Girls actress Kat Dennings looked both stunning and chummy with singer Josh Groban at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Los Angeles, an event aimed to help the fight against diabetes.

Dennings was a knockout in a black floor-length gown. She wore absolutely no jewelry, allowing her dress and her fab figure to do the talking.

No word on whether they're dating, but the pair's apparent inability to separate in front of the cameras on Saturday night implies that love may be in the air. Or maybe they just really like the way each others hair smells.

Groban dated Mad Men star January Jones for three years. The two split in 2006. He also says he had a brief fling with Katy Perry. Dennings has been linked to Broke Girls actor Nick Zano.
