Brightstart Includes Latest LG Optimus Series

Brightstar Corporation shares that LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) has appointed Brightstar Malaysia as its national distributor for selected models from LG Optimus smartphone family. As of May 2013, the company will be distributing LG Optimus G, Optimus L9 and Optimus L5 II to all major smartphone retailers in the country.

“LG has strong brand value with an amazing product roadmap. We are excited to bring the latest in mobile innovation from LG to Malaysian consumers and also play our part in promoting LG as a leading smartphone brand in the country,” said Eric Goh, Brand Director for Brightstar Malaysia.

“LG continues to develop the most advanced UX in order to provide unrivalled intelligent features designed to take maximum advantage of superior hardware in this era of LTE technology and large, high-resolution displays,” said Steve Kim, Country Sales Manager, LG Electronics. “We are pleased to partner with Brightstar in Malaysia. Its nation-wide network will allow us to increase availability of our most in-demand Optimus smartphones to consumers here.”

One of the main LG smartphone to highlight is the flagship Optimus G. It is the first smartphone in the world to employ Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor. And accompanying it is LG’s 4.7in True HD IPS Plus display and Zerogap Touch technology for quality images and touch responsiveness.

Then, LG Optimus L9 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 4.5in qHD display is our for those who needs a bigger screen to consume mobile content. The Optimus L9 is equipped a dual-core processor and a battery capacity of 2,150 mAh for longer usage time period.

Lastly is LG Optimus L5 II that includes LG’s Smart LED Lighting around the home button to alert users to missed calls and messages – among other notifications – with various colours. Coming in with Android’s latest operating system, Jelly Bean 4.1.2, this smartphone also supports two SIM cards.
