Toshiba Contest Prize Giving Ceremony
In April 2013, Toshiba, in collaboration with Microsoft launched a two-month long campaign with prizes, totalling RM150, 000, given out to new and loyal Toshiba Notebook PC users. Opened to all Toshiba Notebook PC pre-installed with Windows 8, every 50th purchaser who submitted their entries walked away with shopping vouchers worth RM1,000 and stand a chance to be in the running for more prizes.
With a total of 16 prizes, participants were given a choice of a Beach, Shopping or an Adventurous holiday where Toshiba will fly them and their partner to these destinations around the world:
For the grand prize, the winning entry got to choose to go to the beach of Maldives, shop in Paris and Rome or go on an adventure in New Zealand.
The second prize winners got to choose to either spend time with their partners in Gold Coast, shop at Hong Kong or go on an adventure in Nepal.
Third prize winners will walk away with either a holiday at the golden beaches in Phuket, a shopping spree in Bangkok or a trip to Bali.
There were also 10 consolation prizes of RM200 shopping vouchers each.
After the contest is closed and entries verified, Toshiba and Microsoft did the prize giving ceremony at Tele Dynamics office in Hicom Glenmarie recently. The Top 6 lucky winners of the contest were Chan Pei Ling, Chew Kim Hong, Imran Yew, Liong Kim Yun, Mohd Ferdaus Bin Mohamed and New Chean Ling.
