Invitation to “Behind the Scenes: The Journey of Doctors Without Borders” Photo Exhibition in KL

On behalf of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF), I am writing to sincerely invite you to come and visit our first public event in Kuala Lumpur, “Behind the Scenes: The Journey of Doctors Without Borders” photo exhibition, which will be held on Wednesday 26 June 2013.

As an international medical humanitarian organisation, MSF delivers medical aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from health care. We offer assistance to populations in crisis without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political convictions.

As part of our effort to engage much more actively with Malaysian society to raise awareness of the global humanitarian issues and MSF’s response to these crises, we are organizing a combination of a photo exhibition and film screenings from 26 to 30 June. They feature the major emergencies, natural disasters, epidemics and conflicts that have shaped and defined MSF’s identity today – neutral, impartial and independent in its delivery of medical and humanitarian aid to the world’s most neglected patients. The event also highlights the stories of our Malaysian field workers; the pain, joy and reality of working in emergencies.

Below is the complete schedules for your convenience. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
