KUALA TERENGGANU, 5 Mei (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) Terengganu sekali

lagi mempertahankan negeri itu daripada jatuh ke tangan pembangkang apabila

menang tipis 17 daripada 32 kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN), pada pilihan

raya umum ke-13 (PRU-13) kali ini.

Pengerusi BN negeri Datuk Seri Ahmad Said yang juga Menteri Besar,

mempertahankan DUN Kijal dengan majoriti 4,204 undi.

Pada sidang media di Kemaman, Ahmad Said berkata BN telah bekerja keras

untuk memberikan yang terbaik kepada rakyat Terengganu, namun masih ada

penduduk, khususnya pengundi bandar dan pinggir bandar, terus menyokong

pembangkang.

"PRU13 ini turut menyaksikan pengundi Cina menolak BN. Kerajaan BN

Terengganu sudah melakukan yang terbaik... BN akan membuat post mortem dalam

masa terdekat.

"Meskipun rakyat di kawasan bandar menerima pelbagai pembangunan daripada

kerajaan, namun mereka masih berpihak kepada pembangkang, berbeza dengan

penduduk kawasan luar bandar yang majoritinya menyokong BN," katanya.

PRU13-KEPUTUSAN (TERENGGANU) 2 (AKHIR) KUALA TERENGGANU

Calon BN yang turut menang ialah calon Kuala Besut Dr A.Rahman

Mokhtar dengan majoriti 2,434 undi, Datuk Tengku Putera Tengku Awang-Kuala

Berang (449), Datuk Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman-Seberang Takir (1,510), -Bazlan Abd

Rahman-Batu Rakit (1,635), Ghazali Taib-Ajil (2,782), Wan Abdul Hakim Wan

Mokhtar-Air Putih (3,633), Datuk Mohd Jidin Shafee-Permaisuri (2,928),

Iskandar Jaafar-Jabi (782), Pehimi Yusof-Jerteh (930), Rozi Mamat-Telemung

(6,864), Nawi Mohamad-Hulu Besut (1,570), Mohd Mahdi Musa-Kota Putera (1,412),

Ir Rosli Othman-Kemasik (898), Datuk Sabri Mohd Noor-Langkap (3,022) Roslee Daud

-Bukit Besi (2,558) A.Latif Awang-Pengkalan Berangan (1,848).

Bagaimanapun kejutan berlaku apabila satu-satunya calon BN yang mewakili

kaum Cina di Terengganu Datuk Toh Chin Yau, kalah kepada calon PKR Azlan Ismail

dengan majoriti 2,159 undi.

Kali ini juga BN Terengganu kalah di dua Parlimen yang merupakan kubu

kuatnya iaitu Kuala Nerus apabila Datuk Nasir Ibrahim Fikri tumpas kepada calon

PAS Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali dengan majoriti 610 undi dan Dungun apabila

Datuk Rosli Mat Hassan kalah kepada calon PAS Wan Hassan Mohd Ramli dengan

majoriti 3,942.

PAS pula mempertahankan Parlimen Marang apabila Presidennya Datuk Seri Hadi

Awang menang majoriti 5,124 selain mengekalkan DUN Ru Rendang (2,819)

manakala Parliman Kuala Terengganu menyaksikan Datuk Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah

Raja Ahmad menang besar dengan majoriti 10,785.

Empat calon BN yang menang kerusi Parlimen ialah Menteri Belia dan Sukan

Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek dengan majoriti 12,306 undi, bekas menteri besar

Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh di Besut (8,342), Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh di Setiu

(7,943) dan Datuk Jailani Johari di Hulu Terengganu (6864).

Sementara itu, semua calon Bebas yang mencuba nasib pada PRU13 ini, Ja'afar

Jambol (Alur Limbat), Mohd Nuhairi Muhammad (Ajil), Zulkiflee Salleh (Kemasik),

Maimun Yusuf di Parlimen Kuala Terenggan, Mazlan Harun yang bertanding Parlimen

Dungun dan DUN Rantau Abang, masing-masing hilang wang pertaruhan kecuali Mohd

Yusof Majid (DUN Permaisuri).

Pada tahun 2008, BN Terengganu hanya kalah lapan daripada 32 kerusi DUN dan

satu, di Marang daripada lapan kerusi Parlimen diikuti satu lagi kerusi pada

pilihan raya kecil Kuala Terengganu pada 2009.

Pengarah Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) Negeri Fakhrul Razi Ab Wahab

Terengganu mencatatkan peratusan keluar mengundi sebanyak 70.65 peratus iaitu

seramai 448,568 daripada 634,944 pengundi berdaftar.
