KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Jan (Bernama) -- Syarikat barangan kulit, kasut dan

pakaian, The Bonia Group, ingin membuka lebih banyak cawangan dalam tahun-tahun

akan datang, kata Pengarah Eksekutifnya, David Chiang.

Beliau berkata kumpulan itu akan membuka butik utama ketiganya -- Santa

Barbara Polo & Racquet Club (SBPRC) -- di Star Mall Mentakab, Pahang minggu

depan.

"Cawangan ini akan memenuhi keperluan wanita dan lelaki bandar yang berusia

20-40 tahun," katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan butik utama keduanya

di Mid Valley Megamall di sini hari ini.

Chiang berkata butik di Mid Valley Megamall itu adalah yang pertama

seumpamanya dan terbesar di Malaysia dengan ruang perniagaan seluas lebih 2,000

kaki persegi.

Beliau berkata syarikat itu menjangka butik tersebut mencatatkan jualan

bernilai lebih RM2 juta dalam tahun pertama ia beroperasi.

"Tahun lepas, kami meraih hampir RM2 juta dengan butik pertama kami di

Sunway Pyramid, dan kami yakin dapat mencapai lebih daripada itu bagi tahun ini

memandangkan peningkatan permintaan bagi produk berkualiti tinggi dan nilai bagi

wang," katanya.

Beliau berkata syarikat itu merancang untuk membuka cawangan SBPRC

keempatnya di Wangsa Walk Mall pada April.

Bonia Group ialah pemegang lesen SBPRC di Malaysia.
