KUALA LUMPUR, 23 April (Bernama) -- Tenaga Nasional Bhd mengulangi yang caj

tambahan satu peratus yang dikenakan ke atas pengguna berat tenaga elektrik

ialah untuk dana tenaga boleh baharu di bawah mekanisme Feed-in-Tariff (FiT).

Presiden dan ketua pegawai eksekutif TNB, Datuk Seri Azman Mohd berkata

Pihak Berkuasa Pembangunan Tenaga Lestari (SEDA) telah ditubuhkan untuk

mentadbir dan melaksanakan mekanisme FiT bagi meningkatkan pertumbuhan tenaga

boleh baharu dan merancakkan pembangunan industri dan teknologi di dalam negara.

Beliau berkata bagi memastikan mekanisme FiT, Akta Tenaga Boleh Baharu 2011,

telah membolehkan penubuhan Dana Tenaga Boleh Baharu.

"TNB hanya mengumpulkan wang yang dianggarkan bernilai RM30 juta setahun dan

jumlah itu terus disalurkan ke SEDA," kata beliau kepada pemberita selepas

pelancaran Taska 1TNB oleh Menteri Wilayah Persekutuan dan Kesejahteraan Bandar

Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin di sini hari ini.

Terdahulu, Azman diminta menjelaskan mengenai dakwaan yang satu peratus yang

dikutip daripada TNB ialah untuk tujuan membiayai Barisan Nasional semasa kempen

pilihan raya.

Azman menjelaskan hanya mereka yang menggunakan 300 kilowatt jam ataupun

RM77.00 dan lebih dalam sebulan akan menyumbang satu peratus daripada jumlah bil

elektrik yang dikeluarkan oleh TNB kepada Dana Tenaga Boleh Baharu.
