BEIJING, 5 Mac (Bernama) -- China menetapkan sasaran pertumbuhan ekonomi 7.5

peratus pada 2013 bagi menyediakan ruang untuk penstrukturan semula ekonomi,

kata Perdana Menterinya, Wen Jiabao.

Katanya langkah itu bertujuan mewujudkan pekerjaan dan meningkatkan

kesejahteraan rakyat.

Beliau berkata demikian semasa menyampaikan laporan kerja kerajaan semasa

pembukaan sesi pertama Kongres Nasional Rakyat (NPC) ke-12 di sini Selasa.

Tahun ini adalah tahun kedua berturut-turut China menetapkan pertumbuhan

ekonomi pada kadar 7.5 peratus, yang lebih perlahan bagi mengalihkan fokus untuk

meningkatkan perubahan model pertumbuhan, penstrukturan semula ekonomi dan

meningkatkan kualiti dan prestasi pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi menggalakkan

pembangunan ekonomi yang sihat.

Sementara itu, kerajaan China juga menetapkan sasaran inflasi 3.5 peratus

pada tahun ini berbanding 4.0 peratus pada tahun lepas.

Bagi mencapainya, kerajaan menyeru dilaksanakan "dasar fiskal proaktif dan

dasar monetari berhemah" bagi mengekalkan kesinambungan dan kestabilan dasar

serta menjadikannya ke hadapan, mempunyai sasaran dan fleksibel.

Laporan itu menyatakan bahawa kerajaan juga berjanji mewujudkan lebih

sembilan juta pekerjaan baharu di bandar dan memastikan pengangguran bandar pada

kadar bawah 4.6 peratus dan memastikan pendapatan per kapita meningkat seiringan

dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Sementara itu, laman web NPC menyatakan bahawa China akan menaikkan

belanjawan pertahanannya sebanyak 10.7 peratus kepada 720.2 bilion yuan

(US$114.3 bilion) pada 2013, berbanding dengan 650.6 bilion yuan pada 2012, yang

merupakan peningkatan 11.6 peratus berbanding tahun sebelumnya.

Katanya laporan itu akan disemak semula pada sesi pertama NPC ke-12 itu.

Wen dijangka menyerahkan kepimpinan negara itu kepada penggantinya, Li

Keqiang pada bulan ini.
