ke-13 akan berlangsung selama 16 hari bermula 24 Jun, selepas pilihan raya umum

ke-13 diadakan pada 5 Mei lepas.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu''adzam Shah berkenan

menyempurnakan Istiadat Pembukaan mesyuarat itu pada 25 Jun di bangunan Parlimen

pada 10 pagi.

Dalam kenyataan di sini hari ini, Yang Di-Pertua Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri

Pandikar Amin Mulia berkata beliau telah menerima Proklamasi Memanggil Parlimen

Untuk Bermesyuarat yang ditandatangani Yang di-Pertuan Agong daripada Perdana

Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Menurut beliau, proklamasi itu memaklumkan bahawa berdasarkan Perkara 55 (4)

Perlembagaan Persekutuan, Tuanku Abdul Halim telah berkenan menetapkan tarikh 24

Jun 2013 sebagai mesyuarat pertama penggal pertama parlimen Malaysia yang ke-13

di bangunan Parlimen selepas pembubaran Parlimen pada 3 April lepas.

"Dengan pengisytiharan ini, selaras dengan Peraturan 11(2)

Peraturan-peraturan Majlis Mesyuarat Dewan Rakyat, maka Perdana Menteri selaku

Ketua Majlis telah memutuskan Takwim Parlimen bagi mesyuarat Pertama Penggal

Pertama Parlimen ke-13 ialah Dewan Rakyat selama 16 hari (mulai 24 Jun hingga

18 Julai 2013) dan Dewan Negara selama sembilan hari (mulai 25 Jun dan 22 Julai

hingga 1 Ogos 2013)," katanya.

PARLIMEN-SIDANG 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Sehubungan itu, beliau berkata Setiausaha Dewan Rakyat Datuk Roosme Hamzah

telah menyusul dengan mengeluarkan Notis Panggilan Mesyuarat kepada semua

anggota Dewan Rakyat.

Beliau berkata berdasarkan Peraturan 1 Peraturan-peraturan Majlis Mesyuarat

Dewan rakyat, Majlis Mesyuarat selepas pilihan raya akan melaksanakan

urusan-urusan utama pada hari pertama majlis mesyuarat itu.

Katanya, urusan utama itu termasuk memilih Yang di-Pertua Dewan Rakyat; Yang

di-Pertua mengangkat sumpah; anggota mesyuarat mengangkat sumpah dan memilih

timbalan-timbalan Yang di-Pertua.
