Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak hari ini mengumumkan bahawa Program Transformasi Ekonomi (ETP) berjaya menarik pelaburan bernilai RM220 bilion dalam tempoh tiga tahun.

Beliau berkata komitmen pelaburan RM220 bilion itu diunjur menyumbang RM144 bilion kepada Pendapatan Negara Kasar (PNK), mewujudkan 435,000 pekerjaan baru dan menjana kesan yang akan mewujudkan aktiviti ekonomi yang lebih luas dalam negara.

"Ketika kita mengakhiri 2013 dan melihat kembali transformasi ekonomi negara sepanjang tiga tahun lepas, saya gembira mengumumkan bahawa 195 projek sudah dilancarkan menerusi Bidang ekonomi Utama Negara (NKEA) 2010," kata Perdana Menteri pada acara “ETP Kini 3 tahun” di Putrajaya hari ini.

Najib yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata NKEA menyumbang 1.3 juta pekerjaan baru sejak 2010 hingga setakat ini tahun ini. Pada masa ini jumlah pekerjaan sebanyak 13.66 juta.

“Ia sesuatu yang membanggakan untuk melihat 69% daripada komitmen untuk tahun ini sudah direalisasikan. NKEA kini dalam kedudukan yang baik untuk menyamai pencapaian dua tahun sebelumnya," katanya.

Najib berkata NKEA terus memain peranan penting dalam ekonomi negara, menyumbang 68.3% daripada PNK bagi tempoh sembilan bulan pertama tahun ini atau RM474 bilion.

Beliau berkata keputusan Indeks Prestasi Utama (KPI) bagi NKEA kini mengikut unjuran dengan 89% secara puratanya tercapai manakala 85% KPI Inisiatif Reformasi Strategik (STI) sudah dicapai.

“Ini menunjukkan kedua-dua projek dan inisiatif ini berjalan lancar, dan saya yakin sasaran tahun ini dapat dipenuhi," katanya.

Meskipun unjuran global terus tidak menentu dengan pasaran maju menangani cabaran masing-masing, Najib berkata Malaysia disasarkan mencatat antara 5% dan 5.5% keluaran dalam negara kasar tahun depan, dengan pelabuhan swasta dijangka berkembang 12.7% kepada RM153 bilion.

“Sehingga suku ketiga tahun ini KDNK mencatat peningkatan 5% tahun ke tahun, mengatasi unjuran dan ia dijangka mencecah 4.5% hingga 5% menjelang akhir tahun," katanya dan menambah KDNK sebenar Malaysia meningkat daripada RM676.7 bilion pada 2010 kepada RM751.5 bilion tahun lepas, peningkatan 11% peratus.

Bagi menjadi pusat operasi, perkhidmatan dan dagangan dunia, Najib berkata Malaysia juga sudah mengenalpasti usaha untuk menarik 13 syarikat multinasional besar untuk menempatkan operasi mereka di Kuala Lumpur tahun depan.

Enam multinasional antarabangsa dengan unjuran perolehan minimum US$600 juta berpotensi membuka operasi dagangan mereka dalam negara, katanya.

"Dalam pasaran kewangan, kami menjangkakan dapat melihat nilai yang semakin meningkat dalam penyenaraian baru dengan permodalan pasaran yang dijangkakan sebanyak RM18 bilion," katanya.

Najib berkata kerajaan telah memperkukuh hasil bagi mengurus program sosioekonomi untuk mengurangkan jurang pendapatan.

“Ini menyebabkan hasil pendapatan kerajaan meningkat 14 peratus dalam tempoh 2010 hingga 2012, meningkat daripada RM160 bilion kepada RM207 bilion. Kami mengunjurkannya mencecah RM220 bilion hasil tahun ini," katanya.

Najib berkata Malaysia sudah meningkatkan kadar pertumbuhan tahunan pelaburan swasta sejak pelaksanaan ETP.

"Purata minimum sebanyak 5% setahun sejak 2008 hingga 2010 telah meningkat tiga kali ganda kepada 16% bagi tempoh 2010 hingga 2012. Tahun ini, pelaburan swasta dijangka berkembang 16.2%, mencecah RM135.8 bilion," katanya. – Bernama, 16 Disember, 2013.
