KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Mei (Bernama) -- Polis hari ini meminta orang ramai agar

tidak mempercayai satu lagi dakwaan wujudnya ''pengundi hantu'' pada pilihan raya

umum ke-13 (PRU13) dengan tersebarnya gambar ratusan kad pengenalan dan kad bank

di laman-laman media sosial hari ini dan semalam.

"Kad-kad yang bertaburan seperti dipaparkan dalam gambar berkenaan

sebenarnya mempunyai kaitan dengan satu kes jenayah di Kedah pada 2011," kata

Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar pada sidang media di sini

hari ini.

"Perkara ni berlaku pada 2011, bukan hari ini, semalam atau tempoh terdekat.

Tapi ada pula pihak yang sengaja mengeluarkan balik cerita itu, edarkan gambar

itu, mungkin untuk mengelirukan masyarakat," katanya.

Beliau meminta semua jangan terkeliru dan terpedaya dengan dakyah pihak yang

sengaja timbulkan keraguan di pihak orang ramai di saat-saat akhir hari

pengundian esok.

Mereka berniat biar orang yang tengok gambar ini akan menganggap "betul lah

ni ada pengundi hantu", katanya.

PRU13-POLIS (PENGUNDI) 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Khalid juga berkata tiada kemasukan ''pengundi hantu'' warga asing dari

Bangladesh dan Filipina ke negara ini melalui beberapa penerbangan seperti yang

didakwa ketua umum PKR Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Beliau berkata hasil semakan mendapati beberapa syarikat penerbangan seperti

AirAsia menyediakan penerbangan tambahan atas permintaan orang ramai dan ia

merupakan amalan yang biasa seperti pada musim-musim perayaan.

Sehubungan itu, beliau menggesa pihak yang mereka cerita tersebut agar

menghentikan perbuatan demikian serta merta supaya tidak merunsingkan fikiran

orang ramai.

"Rekaan cerita ini diharap tidak diambil serius oleh masyarakat kerana pihak

polis setakat ini belum lagi menerima apa juga laporan polis berkenaan kemasukan

orang asing untuk mengundi," katanya.

Khalid berkata Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) akan memastikan hanya pengundi

berdaftar sahaja layak mengundi.

"Ada cara untuk menyemak sama ada pengundi itu berdaftar atau tidak. Jadi di

pusat-pusat mengundi esok, mereka dan kad pengenalan mereka akan disemak,"

katanya.

Sementara itu, Khalid berkata maklumat yang tersebar secara cepat, meluas

dan mudah akibat kecanggihan teknologi menjadi cabaran utama pasukan keselamatan

itu pada PRU13 kali ini.
