GE13 Polling Day: Nation reacts

A week after the dissolution of the Parliament, the Elections Commission (EC) convened on Wednesday (10.04.2013) morning to announce the nomination and polling dates.

In an announcement that beamed live across several television stations after a 10am meeting in Putrajaya, the EC has announced that nomination day will be on 20 April 2013 while polling day will be held on 5 May 2013.

After the announcement of the dates, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak took to his Twitter page to share his enthusiasm:
