7 Mei — Pilihan Raya 2013 menyaksikan golongan reformis dalam parti Islam PAS yang digelar kumpulan “Erdorgan” terkubur apabila kebanyakkan daripada mereka tewas dikerusi-kerusi yang ditandingi.

Perkembangan ini menyebabkan dinamik dalam PAS itu sendiri akan berubah.

Jikalau sebelum ini golongan reformis dilihat menguasai parti tersebut selepas Mohamad Sabu menang dalam pertandingan jawatan timbalan presiden parti itu mengalahkan Nasharuddin Mat Isa dan Tuan Ibrahim tidak lama dahulu, dan barisan naib presiden yang dilihat progresif, selepas ini kemungkinan besar ianya akan berubah.

“Hubungan simbiotis antara ulama dan reformis dalam PAS dijangka kekal kerana masing-masing ada pengikut. Politik tarik-tali akan berlaku,” kata Prof Datuk Mohamad Abu Bakar dari Universiti Malaya kepada The Malaysian Insider.

Nama-nama pemimpin tertinggi PAS seperti Mohamad Sabu, Salahuddin Ayub, Datuk Husam Musa dan Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad tewas di kesemua kerusi yang mereka tandingi.

Mohamad kalah di kerusi Parlimen Pendang ditangan calon Barisan Nasional (BN) Datuk Othman Abdul dengan majoriti 2,638 undi. Salahuddin pula tewas di kedua-dua kerusi Parlimen Pulai dan DUN Nusajaya yang ditandinginya masing-masing dengan majoriti 3,226 dan 2,201 undi.

Husam gagal untuk menggugat Setiausaha Agung Umno Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor apabila kalah di kerusi Parlimen Putrajaya dengan majoriti besar 5,541 undi.

Walau bagaimanapun, beliau masih bernasib baik kerana berjaya mengekalkan kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Salor akan tetapi tidak lagi dilantik semula menjadi Exco kerajaan negeri Kelantan di bawah pimpinan Menteri Besar baru, Datuk Ahmad Yakcop.

Datuk Mahfuz Omar satu-satunya naib presiden yang terselamat apabila berjaya mengalahkan Setiusaha Politik Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Datuk Shahlan Ismail di kerusi Parlimen Pokok Sena.

Pemikir kanan PAS Dzulkefly pula gagal untuk mempertahankan kerusi Parlimen Kuala Selangor apabila kalah dengan tipis di tangan pendatang baru dari BN Datuk Irmohizam Ibrahim dengan majoriti 460 undi.

Walau bagaimanapun, kedua-dua tokoh ulama Timbalan Mursyidul Am PAS Datuk Dr Haron Din dan Ketua Penerangan Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man turut kalah di kerusi Parlimen dan DUN yang mereka tandingi.

Sayap pemuda yang dilihat menyokong kuat golongan ulama kali ini berjaya membuka laluan untuk masuk ke Dewan Rakyat.

Ketua Pemuda PAS, Nasruddin Hassan membuat kejutan apabila berjaya mengalahkan bekas timbalan menteri pengajian tinggi Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah dengan majoriti 1,070 undi.

Manakala timbalannya, Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz juga berjaya menguburkan karier politik pemimpin berhaluan kanan Datuk Ibrahim Ali dengan majoriti besar 8,047 undi.

Polemik dalam PAS dijangka akan menjadi lebih hebat lagi dalam tahun-tahun mendatang.

PAS berjaya memenangi 21 daripada 73 kerusi Parlimen yang ditandinginya dalam Pilihan Raya 2013. Manakala DAP dan PKR masing-masing mendapat 38 dan 30 kerusi.

PAS mempertahankan Kelantan, tewas di Kedah dan berjaya memenangi 15 kerusi DUN berbanding 17 kerusi BN di Terengganu.

“Kerjasama antaranya mengekalkan kekuatan parti, tetapi hubungan di antara kedua-duanya tidak semestinya mesra dalam perkembangan akan datang,” tambah Mohamad Abu Bakar merujuk kepada pertembungan diantara golongan reformis dan ulama dalam PAS.

Presiden PAS Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang yang selama ini dikelilingi oleh golongan reformis kali semakin kukuh kedudukannya apabila menang di kedua-dua kerusi Parlimen Marang dan DUN Rhu Rendang.

Selepas kekalahan golongan reformis dalam PRU13, Abdul Hadi dilihat berkemungkinan akan bersama-sama golongan baru, cenderung kepada golongan ulama selepas pemilihan dalam muktamar PAS akan datang.
