Hrithik Roshan's poems receive praise

23 Jul – The multi-talented actor has been seen playing many different characters on screen, but his passion for writing is what makes him stands out from other Bollywood stars.

The hunky 39-year-old star has been putting his spare time to good use by writing poems. After his brain surgery recently, he posted a motivational poem on his official Facebook page, which currently has roughly 4.6 million fans.

The poem went, "There are no born heroes or winners... It takes a hammer, a chisel, a vision and a will to suffer the blows and be carved into one."

After reading his poem, many of his celebrity friends encouraged Hrithik to publish his own inspirational biography or poem book. His poetry-writing skills have also garnered praise from successful filmmaker Karan Johar.

A close friend of the actor commented, "Hrithik is giving it (writing a book) a thought considering he isn't working these days (he is on a four-week break after the surgery). But nothing is finalised yet."

A publishing house has also shown interest in publishing Hrithik's book. However, the actor will be putting his book on hold as he will be busy with many film projects such as "Krrish 3", followed by "Bang Bang", once he has fully recovered from his surgery.
