HANOI, 7 Sept (Bernama) -- Hubungan diplomatik dua hala antara Malaysia

dan Vietnam sejak 40 tahun lepas telah banyak membuka ruang dalam bidang

pelaburan dan perdagangan bagi kedua-dua negara dan dijangka berkembang lebih

pesat pada masa depan.

Duta Besar Malaysia ke Vietnam Datuk Azmil Mohd Zabidi berkata kemampuan

Vietnam sebagai negara pengeluar bahan mentah, antaranya kopi dan beras,

selain kepakaran dalam bidang pembuatan, menjadikan nilai pelaburan

Malaysia ke negara ini mencapai US$20 bilion (RM66.55 bilion) dalam tempoh 20

tahun lepas.

"Ketika saya mula bertugas di sini pada 2011, jumlah perdagangan dua hala

adalah pada US$6.6 bilion (RM21.96 bilion) sahaja setahun dan saya

mensasarkan ia perlu diperkembang agar kedua-dua negara dapat menikmati

faedahnya seiring dengan hubungan rapat Kuala Lumpur-Hanoi.

"Apa yang saya lihat kini, keakraban kedua-dua negara dan usaha ke arahnya

berjaya meningkatkan jumlah nilai perdagangan apabila pelabur semakin

mempercayai pembangunan ekonomi Vietnam, menjadikan jumlah itu mampu melonjak

sehingga lebih 50 peratus iaitu lebih US$9 juta pada 2012 dalam tempoh hanya dua

tahun sahaja," katanya kepada pemberita Malaysia di sini.

Beliau ditemui semasa lawatan empat hari Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul

Halim Mu''adzam Shah dan Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah

di Vietnam bermula Khamis lepas.

MALAYSIA-VIETNAM (DUTA) 2 HANOI

Azmil berkata sehingga tahun ini, lebih 400 syarikat Malaysia mengadakan

hubungan perdagangan dengan Vietnam dan kebanyakannya melabur dalam bidang

hartanah yang dilihat mempunyai kelebihan pada masa depan.

Beliau berkata negara dengan kira-kira 90 juta penduduk ini menyediakan

peluang yang besar untuk syarikat melebarkan sayap dan meraih keuntungan jangka

panjang terutamanya dalam hartanah mahupun pasaran produk keluaran Malaysia.

"Malaysia kini masih pelabur terbesar di bandar Ho Chi Minh terutamanya

dalam hartanah kerana ramai mengetahui, bandar tersebut terkenal sebagai syurga

membeli-belah, jadi kadar kemasukan pelancong juga tinggi maka perkembangan

ekonomi di sana turut berkembang pesat," katanya.

Ketika ditanya mengenai bidang pelancongan di sini, Azmil berkata pada tahun

lepas sahaja, pelancong Malaysia ke Vietnam mencecah 400,000 orang dan dijangka

meningkat setiap tahun manakala pelancong negara itu ke Malaysia berjumlah

lebih 200,000 orang.

"Kebanyakan pelancong Malaysia tertumpu ke bandar Ho Chi Minh yang terletak

hanya sejam perjalanan dengan kapal terbang dari Kuala Lumpur. Ada yang datang

balik hari semata-mata membeli-belah dan ini menunjukkan petanda yang baik untuk

perkembangan ekonomi Vietnam bagi pelabur," katanya.

MALAYSIA-VIETNAM (DUTA) - 3 (AKHIR) HANOI

Azmil berkata bagi syarikat Malaysia yang mencari tenaga kerja asing, mereka

digalak ''mengintai'' peluang mengambil pekerja Vietnam kerana kerajaan negara ini

kini giat melatih rakyatnya untuk mempunyai kemahiran tertentu sebelum dihantar

bekerja ke luar negara.

Latihan dikhususkan dalam bidang pembuatan serta perladangan dan sehingga

kini, terdapat 20,000 pekerja Vietnam bekerja di Malaysia dan dijangka bertambah

pada masa depan seiring hubungan perdagangan kedua-dua negara.

"Vietnam kini dilihat menunjukkan minat mendalam untuk menjalin kerjasama

erat dalam perladangan kelapa sawit dengan Malaysia berikutan lawatan Menteri

Perusahaan Perladangan dan Komoditi Datuk Seri Douglas Unggah Embas dua bulan

lepas.

"Kerjasama dalam bidang ini mampu menarik lebih ramai pelabur yang boleh

memberikan faedah dan pulangan yang tinggi kepada hubungan perdagangan

kedua-dua negara," katanya.

Beliau berkata lawatan negara dan lawatan-lawatan daripada pemimpin

tertinggi kerajaan yang lain sebenarnya memperkukuhkan hubungan diplomatik

kedua-dua negara dan diharap dapat menguatkan lagi kepercayaan untuk terus

bekerjasama dalam semua bidang demi manfaat bersama.

Tuanku Abdul Halim dan Tuanku Hajah Haminah mengadakan lawatan negara ke

negara ini seiring dengan ulangtahun diplomatik Kuala Lumpur-Hanoi yang telah

terjalin sejak 40 tahun lepas bermula pada 30 Mac 1973 malah Malaysia dan

Vietnam turut berkongsi visi ke arah menjadi negara perindustrian moden

menjelang tahun 2020.
