Malaysia-Indonesia (Iswami) mengecam keras penyebaran iklan ''TKI On Sale'' oleh

pihak tertentu dan mendesak kerajaan menyiasat hingga ke akar umbi bagi

dikenakan tindakan tegas.

Timbalan Pengerusi Iswami Malaysia Datuk Chamil Wariya berkata siapa pun

yang mencetak dan menyebarkan iklan yang berupa lembaran ''flyer'' itu mesti

dikenakan tindakan tegas kerana perbuatan itu boleh dianggap memperdagangkan

manusia.

"Apa lagi dengan diskaun 40 peratus yang ditawarkan itu seolah-olah pihak

terlibat dengan mudah dapat ''menjual orang'' dan mungkin juga membelakangkan

peraturan dan undang-undang negara," katanya kepada Bernama di sini hari ini.

Beliau kecewa kerana tindakan pengiklan itu, walaupun tidak disiarkan di

media arus perdana, telah menimbulkan kemarahan banyak pihak di Indonesia yang

menganggapnya suatu bentuk pelecehan terhadap tenaga kerja Indonesia (TKI).

"Kerajaan Malaysia, termasuk golongan wartawan sendiri, bekerja keras untuk

menjalin hubungan baik dengan Indonesia, namun, jika iklan seperti ini dibiarkan

tanpa dikenakan tindakan, semua usaha baik pelbagai pihak di kedua-dua negara

akan menjadi sia-sia," katanya.

ISWAMI-IKLAN 2 KUALA LUMPUR

Chamil berkata iklan itu mungkin merupakan satu percubaan pihak tidak

bertanggungjawab untuk mengeksploitasi suasana semasa di mana terdapat banyak

permintaan di kalangan rakyat Malaysia untuk mendapatkan khidmat pembantu rumah.

"Rakyat Malaysia sendiri perlu berhati-hati terhadap iklan sebegini kerana

ia mungkin hanya merupakan satu bentuk penipuan, yang akan menjadi beban

undang-undang kepada majikan jika pembantu rumah itu adalah pendatang yang masuk

ke negara ini secara tidak sah," katanya.

Media massa di Indonesia hari ini menyiarkan berita serta gambar iklan itu

yang dikatakan melecehkan TKI, yang disebarkan di Jalan Chow Kit.

Detiknews melaporkan bahawa pertubuhan bukan kerajaan yang menjaga kebajikan

TKI, Migrant Care ''menemui iklan dari sebuah ejen penyalur tenaga kerja asal

Indonesia di Malaysia yang isinya bernada negatif''.

Turut dilaporkan oleh media massa di Indonesia ialah penjelasan oleh Duta

Besar Malaysia ke Indonesia Datuk Syed Munshe Afdzaruddin Syed Hassan bahawa

kerajaan Malaysia tidak sekali-kali terlibat dengan iklan itu dan kesal di atas

tindakan pihak tidak bertanggungjawab yang mengedarkan iklan itu.

Beliau juga dilaporkan sudah meminta pihak berkuasa Malaysia termasuk Dewan

Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur menyiasat segera dan mengambil tindakan tegas terhadap

penyebar iklan itu.

Sementara itu usaha Bernama menghubungi tiga nombor telefon bimbit yang

disiarkan pada iklan itu, dua daripadanya hanya dijawab oleh peti pesanan suara.

Satu nombor lagi dijawab oleh seorang lelaki yang mengaku bekerja sebagai

pemandu dan tidak tahu menahu mengenai iklan itu dan bagaimana nombor telefonnya

boleh digunakan oleh penyebar iklan itu.

Lelaki itu mengakui marah kerana terganggu oleh banyak panggilan yang

diterimanya bertanyakan mengenai tawaran diskaun pembantu rumah itu.
