KUALA LUMPUR, 19 Ogos (Bernama) -- Bukan sahaja murah tetapi juga senang

diperoleh, itu tanggapan yang dapat diungkap terhadap dua akaun Facebook yang

mendakwa menjual senjata api dalam talian, di negara ini.

Satu daripada akaun itu mendakwa menawarkan pelbagai senjata api termasuk

pistol, revolver dan ''assault rifle'' dalam lingkungan harga antara RM500 dan

RM15,000.

Menurut akaun Facebook itu, raifal AK-47 dijual dengan harga RM12,000

manakala pistol Smith & Wesson RM500 dan revolver termasuk dua kotak peluru

dijual pada harga RM15,000.

Satu lagi akaun Facebook mendakwa menawarkan kira-kira 10 jenis senjata api

antaranya E&C M16A4, airsoft gun Tercel M1911 serta S&T Mosin Nagant Gas Rifle

(Real Wood) dengan harga antara RM600 dan RM1,250.

Berdasarkan gambar yang dipapar, senjata terbabit menyerupai senjata

sebenar.

FACEBOOK-SENJATA API 2 KUALA LUMPUR

Akaun Facebook itu diwujudkan Februari lalu dan mendapat 688 ''likes'' di

samping menjadi topik perbualan 141 pengguna yang melayari akaun berkenaan.

Pengendali akaun juga dapat dihubungi menerusi nombor telefon mudah alih

yang dipapar pada akaun itu serta memberi respons kepada khidmat pesanan ringkas

yang dihantar oleh wartawan Bernama ini.

Kewujudan dua akaun Facebook itu menimbulkan persoalan mengenai

penguatkuasaan undang-undang di negara ini apabila orang ramai dilihat dapat

memperoleh senjata api dengan mudah tatkala kejadian tembak meningkat

kebelakangan ini.

Sepanjang Julai lepas beberapa kes tembak dilaporkan termasuk yang berprofil

tinggi membabitkan pengasas Ambank Hussain Ahmad Najadi yang maut ditembak

ketika keluar dari sebuah tokong di Lorong Ceylon dekat sini.

Sehari sebelum itu pada 28 Julai, aktivis pemantau jenayah R. Sri Sanjeevan

parah ditembak dua lelaki dalam kejadian di Bahau, Negeri Sembilan.

Pada 5 Julai seorang guru di Kelantan cedera parah selepas ditembak di

leher.

FACEBOOK-SENJATA API 3 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah (JSJ) Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Ku Chin Wah ketika

diminta mengulas mengenai kewujudan akaun terbabit, berkata pihaknya akan

menyiasat mengikut Seksyen 11 Akta Senjata 1960 jika benar mereka menawar dan

menjual senjata api di negara ini.

"Jual senjata api tanpa lesen yang sah adalah kesalahan serius," katanya

yang dihubungi Bernama.

Sementara itu, Naib Pengerusi Yayasan Pencegahan Jenayah (MCPF), Tan Sri Lee

Lam Thye berkata tindakan mereka yang menjual senjata api secara terbuka

menunjukkan mereka tidak gentar dengan undang-undang sedia ada.

"Hukuman berat perlu dikenakan supaya mereka tidak sesuka hati menjual

senjata api.

"Malahan, sebagai negara yang mempunyai undang-undang ketat, pihak berkuasa

dan kerajaan juga harus menjalankan siasatan terperinci agar mereka dapat

ditahan dan menjadi pengajaran kepada penjenayah lain," katanya.
