Kanak-kanak enam tahun dilarikan bersama kereta ibu di Sungai Petani

SUNGAI PETANI, 17 April (Bernama) -- Tindakan prihatin orang awam berjaya menyelamatkan seorang kanak-kanak lelaki berusia enam tahun yang dilarikan bersama kereta ibunya dalam kejadian di Taman Ria di sini petang tadi.

Dalam kejadian kira-kira 3.30 petang itu, Adam Hanif Abu Mansor, 6, yang ditinggalkan dalam kereta Perodua Myvi oleh ibunya yang keluar sebentar untuk urusan di sebuah bank di sini, dilarikan seorang lelaki berusia 30-an.

Ibunya, Faridah Osman, 47, yang menyedari kereta dan anaknya hilang sebaik selesai urusan segera memaklumkan perkara terbabit kepada polis.

Tindakan pantas sekumpulan kira-kira 50 anggota Skuad Bantuan Krisis MCA (CRSM) bersama anggota polis yang menjalankan operasi mencari berjaya menahan suspek yang sedang menuju ke arah Bedong, kira-kira dua kilometer dari tempat kejadian.

Suspek berada dalam kenderaan tersebut tetapi kanak-kanak tersebut tiada dan dikatakan telah ditinggalkan di Taman Wira di sini, kira-kira 500 meter dari lokasi kejadian.

Ketua Polis Daerah Kuala Muda ACP Khalil Ariffin berkata suspek berusia 27 tahun berjaya ditangkap oleh polis dengan kerjasama orang awam manakala kanak-kanak itu ditemui tanpa sebarang kecederaan.

Katanya siasatan lanjut masih dijalankan dan kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 363 Kanun Keseksaan kerana cubaan menculik.

"Suspek ditahan dan kami akan dapatkan perintah reman esok. Nasihat saya kepada orang awam, jangan tinggalkan anak bersendirian dalam kereta tanpa pengawasan orang dewasa bagi mengelakkan kejadian seperti ini berlaku," katanya ketika dihubungi.

Sementara itu, bapa mangsa, Abu Mansor Ahmad, 49, berkata dia dimaklumkan bekas isteri mengenai kehilangan anak bongsu daripada lima beradik itu.

"Saya turut mencari mangsa di beberapa lokasi. Saya mendapat panggilan daripada saudara kira-kira 4 petang mengatakan Adam telah dihantar pulang oleh orang awam yang menjumpainya," katanya.
