MELAKA, 20 Sept (Bernama) -- Perkembangan pesat ekonomi sejak kebelakangan ini

menjadikan industri perkhidmatan di Malaysia memberangsangkan terutama industry

pengangkutan udara sejajar dengan peningkatan permintaan terutamanya dari

komuniti perniagaan dan pelancongan.

Terkini, Kolej Antarabangsa Yayasan Melaka (KAYM) mengambil langkah proaktif dan

cemerlang dalam menawarkan kursus-kursus dalam bidang aviation dan salah satu

bidang kerjaya penting yang terdapat dalam industri penerbangan yang memang

dikenali umum serta glamor adalah sebagai pramugara dan pramugari.

Satu majlis pelancaran “Airline Cabin Crew Training Course” atau kursus Krew

Kabin Penerbangan disempurnakan oleh Datuk Saroni Judi, Ketua Eksekutif KAYM

selaku Pengerusi Lembaga Pengarah KYM Stes Sdn Bhd, anak syarikat KAYM di

Auditorium KAYM di Bukit Sebukor baru-baru ini.

Menurut beliau kursus Krew Kabin Penerbangan mendapat pengiktirafan dan

persijilan dari IATA dan KAYM ini memberi peluang kepada pelajar samada belajar

di kampus induk di Melaka atau di kampus bandaraya Kuala Lumpur menawarkan

kursus sepenuh masa dan separuh masa.

Bagi persijilan dari International Air Transport Association (IATA), KAYM telah

diberi pengiktirafan dan kepercayaan untuk menjadi pusat latihan bertauliah dan

pusat peperiksaan bagi kurusus tersebut dengan hanya menerima 20 pelajar sahaja

bagi setiap 4 sesi pengambilan setahun. Manakala bagi kursus persijilan dari

KAYM pula, pengambilan adalah terbuka sepanjang tahun.

“Kualiti adalah perkara utama dititikberatkan oleh IATA dan KAYM, justeru tenaga

pengajar berpengalaman dari indusri penerbangan telah dipilih” katanya.

Saroni berkata ini merupakan produk terbaru bagi melahirkan pramugara dan

pramugari berkualti untuk syarikat penerbangan global.

“Bagi kursus ini, potensi peluang pekerjaan adalah sangat tinggi kerana kami

mendapat kerjasama dari syarikat-syarikat penerbangan domestik dan antarabangsa

seperti Malaysia Airlines (MAS), FireFly, AirAsia, Royal Brunei Airlines, Qatar

Airlines dan lain-lain rakan industri.

“Yuran kursus yang ditawarkan juga sangat berpatutan dan tidak membebankan dan

dalam masa yang sama mampu meningkat keyakinan diri para pelajar sendiri semasa

berhadapan dengan pelbagai jenis manusia.” katanya.

Menurut Saroni, sesi pengambilan pelajar pertama kursus Krew Kabin Penerbangan

akan bermula pada pertengahan Oktober tahun ini. Justeru, ini memberi peluang

dan potensi besar kepada para pelajar dan mereka yang berminat untuk mengembang

dan menjamin kerjaya masing-masing dalam industri penerbangan negara di dalam

dan luar Negara.

“Kami akan terus melangkah maju ke hadapan bagi melakar kecemerlangan dalam

industri pendidikan negara dan pelbagai perancangan dan pelakasaan strategik

telah dirangka dan digubal dalam usaha menambahbaik setiap aspek agar KAYM

menjadi sebuah pusat kecemerlangan akademik yang terunggul di rantau ini.”
