ALOR SETAR, 22 Jun (Bernama) -- Kerajaan Kedah akan menaik taraf dan

memperbaiki kemudahan di semua stadium di negeri ini, terutama Stadium Darul

Aman, bagi memastikan keselesaan dan keselamatan penggunanya.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Belia, Sukan dan Badan-badan Bukan Kerajaan Negeri

Aminuddin Omar berkata pihaknya menerima aduan berkaitan beberapa kemudahan

di stadium yang rosak dan perlu diperbaiki.

"Saya dah melawat beberapa stadium di sekitar Kedah dan telah minta pengurus

yang bertanggungjawab menjaga stadium ini untuk menyenaraikan kerosakan yang

berlaku.

"Pihak saya akan bertindak dengan segera selepas mengetahui senarai

kerosakan dan kita akan pastikan kerja-kerja pembaikan dilakukan dengan segera,"

katanya kepada Bernama selepas Program Bersama Anak-anak Yatim di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata baru-baru ini, Menteri Besar Datuk Mukhriz Tun Dr Mahathir

meluluskan peruntukan bagi memperbaiki tandas awam di Stadium Darul Aman.

KEDAH-STADIUM 2 (AKHIR) ALOR SETAR

"Bila Datuk Mukhriz dapat aduan mengenai kerosakan ini, beliau terus ambil

tindakan segera dengan beri kelulusan peruntukan.

"Walaupun kerja pembaikan belum dimulakan, tapi peruntukan sudah dapat, jadi

kita akan cuba selesaikan masalah ini dengan segera namun mengikut prosedur,"

katanya.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Aminuddin berkata kerajaan negeri tidak menghadapi

masalah bagi membantu pusat jagaan anak-anak yatim di Kedah serta menyalurkan

sumbangan serta kemudahan yang diperlukan.

"Saya yakin di bawah Datuk Mukhriz ini, kita tidak akan tinggalkan sesiapa

yang memerlukan bantuan, baik bagi anak-anak yatim mahupun golongan yang

memerlukan, cuma kita perlu cari alternatif terbaik untuk membantu mereka,"

katanya mengulas permohonan Pertubuhan Perkumpulan Wanita (WI) Cawangan Alor

Setar agar kerajaan negeri membantu anak yatim.

Pada program itu, seramai 60 anak yatim sekitar Alor Setar dirai Pertubuhan

Kebajikan Islam Malaysia (Perkim) cawangan Ulu Klang, WI cawangan Alor Setar dan

Kelab Merdeka Muda Malaysia (KeMuda).
