PONTIAN, 6 Sept (Bernama) -- Kenaikan harga minyak RON95 dan diesel sebanyak

20 sen seliter baru-baru ini tidak seharusnya dijadikan alasan oleh pemaju untuk

menaikkan harga rumah sehingga 10 peratus.

Timbalan Menteri Kewangan Datuk Ahmad Maslan berkata pada asasnya harga

rumah banyak bergantung kepada faktor permintaan pembeli dan bukannya bergantung

kepada harga minyak sepenuhnya.

"Pada saya harga rumah ni tak ada kaitan dengan harga minyak, jadi saya

harap kementerian berkenaan akan memantau soal ini untuk memastikannya dalam

keadaan terkawal," katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan majlis ramah

mesra rakyat Syarikat Perumahan Nasional Berhad (SPNB) di Kampung Parit Puteri

Menangis, Benut di sini hari ini.

Majlis turut dihadiri Pengarah Urusan SPNB Datuk Dr Kamarul Rashdan

Salleh.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika diminta mengulas kenyataan Ketua Pegawai

Eksekutif Persatuan Hartanah dan Pemaju Malaysia Datuk Seri Yam Kong Choy dalam

sebuah portal semalam yang menyatakan tentang kemungkinan berlaku peningkatan 10

peratus terhadap harga rumah pada masa kini.

Kenaikan itu disebabkan oleh langkah kerajaan menaikkan harga minyak RON95

dan diesel sebanyak 20 sen seliter selain ketidakhadiran pekerja asing di tapak

binaan, ekoran operasi bersepadu 6P mengesan pekerja asing tanpa izin yang

dilancarkan oleh kerajaan Ahad lepas.

Sementara itu, Kamarul berkata SPNB tidak bercadang menaikkan harga rumah

ekoran kenaikan harga minyak seperti yang diumumkan oleh Perdana Menteri

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak baru-baru ini.

"Permintaan rumah tidak ada kaitan dengan kenaikan harga diesel, sebaliknya

harga dalam sektor hartanah banyak bergantung kepada pemintaan daripada pembeli.

"Berikutan langkah bank memperketatkan pinjaman perumahan baru-baru ini,

jumlah pembeli yang berkelayakan juga semakin berkurang dan saya tidak

menjangkakan pemaju sanggup menaikkan harga rumah dalam keadaan pada masa kini,"

katanya ketika mengulas perkara tersebut.
