Kerajaan memberi jaminan penjualan saham Felda Holdings Berhad (FHB) yang dimiliki Koperasi Peneroka Felda (KPF) kepada Felda Global Ventures Holdings (FGVH) tidak akan menjejaskan peneroka.

Timbalan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Razali Ibrahim, berkata perjanjian berjumlah RM2.2 bilion itu akan mengutamakan kebajikan peneroka.

“KPF adalah koperasi terbaik dalam pengagihan dan operasi. Kami akan pastikan, ia menguntungkan kedua-dua pihak iaitu FGV dan KPF,” katanya menjawab soalan di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.

Dalam jawapan lisannya, Ahli Parlimen Muar itu turut mempertahankan tindakan Felda membeli hotel mewah bernilai hampir RM500 juta di London atas alasan ia mempunyai prospek pelaburan hartanah yang tinggi.

Beliau berkata, pembelian 198 unit apartment itu dibuat oleh anak syarikat (bukan unit amanah) iaitu Felda Investment Corporation (FIC), sekali gus menolak dakwaan bahawa FGV memiliki saham besar dalam urusan jual beli tersebut dan ia tidak mengaitkan dana peneroka.

"Nilai hartanah di London sangat besar dan ia meningkat sekitar 115 juta pound. Jadi atas kertas ia menguntungkan.

"Adakah pelaburan itu boleh mendatangkan hasil tidak boleh dijawab kerana Felda satu agensi yang sangat besar," katanya menjawab soalan Ahli Parlimen Bagan, Lim Guan Eng yang menuntut penjelasan mengenai pembelian hotel di London yang tiada kaitan dengan aktiviti teras komoditi perladangan Felda sejak tahun 2000.

Beliau turut menafikan dakwaan bahawa Felda berhasrat untuk mengikut jejak langkah Sime Darby yang menukar aktiviti perladangan asal kepada agensi pelaburan dalam jangka masa panjang ekoran mempunyai aset yang banyak.

The Malaysian Insider awal hari ini melaporkan FGVH sekali lagi mencetuskan kontroversi apabila mencadangkan penjualan baki 51% saham Felda Holdings Bhd (FHB), dan pengkritik berkata ia akan memudaratkan KPF.

Penganalisis kewangan meramalkan perjanjian RM2.2 bilion itu akan menguntungkan FGVH, tetapi pengkritik berkata KPF yang mewakili 113,000 peneroka akan kehilangan wang tunai dan berhadapan dengan masa depan tidak pasti.

FHB merupakan pengeluar minyak sawit mentah terbesar dunia (CPO), pada masa kini dengan 3.3 juta tan dikeluarkan pada 2012.

KPF memegang 51% kepentingan dalam syarikat itu manakala baki 49% adalah milik FGV.

“Sebanyak 80% daripada kekuatan KPF datang daripada FHB. Kehilangan 80% kepada projek FGV menyebabkan masa depan KPF tidak menentu,” kata Presiden Anak Peneroka Felda Kebangsaan (Anak), Mazlan Aliman.

Penganalisa ekonomi, Azrul Azwar Ahmad Tajudin bersetuju dengan kebimbangan Mazlan dan berkata, KPF akan mengalami kerugian lebih besar jika menjual saham mereka sekarang.

Walaupun Pengerusi KPF, Datuk Faizoull Ahmad mengatakan perjanjian RM2.2 bilion itu akan digunakan untuk melabur dalam anak syarikat Felda sedia ada, terdapat keraguan pelaburan itu akan menyamai keuntungan besar yang mereka perolehi kini. – 21 Oktober, 2013.
