Above all, Karpal was a great father

For as long as I have been aware of this thing called “politics,” I have been aware of Karpal Singh. As a boy, my image of him was often humorous, based as they were on classic Lat cartoons. A particular favourite has Mr Karpal looking gigantic in full court regalia holding aloft a coconut scrapper with one superhuman hand while pointing... …

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 Ogos (Bernama) -- Pergerakan Wanita Umno hari ini

mencadangkan supaya kerajaan mewujudkan kembali undang-undang pencegahan jenayah

Bagaimanapun katanya pendekatan ''check and balance'' (seimbang) perlu untuk

mengenepikan soal hak asasi manusia.

Menteri Dalam Negeri berhubung perintah tahanan.

SHAHIZAT-JENAYAH 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

jalinan Ramadan bersama pasukan beruniform.

Turut hadir Panglima Angkatan Tentera Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin, Ketua

Polis Negara Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara Datuk Seri

Bakri Zinin, Ketua Pengarah JPAM Datuk Sulaiman Keling dan Ketua Pengarah Bomba

dan Penyelamat Datuk Wan Mohd Nor Ibrahim.

Sebanyak 8,000 bungkusan sumbangan diserahkan kepada anggota pasukan

beruniform di seluruh negara. Turut mendapat sumbangan enam keluarga anggota
