MEDAN (Indonesia), 26 Mei (Bernama) -- Kerjasama erat kumpulan komuniti yang

terjalin antara Malaysia, Indonesia dan Brunei merupakan pemangkin kepada

kejayaan inisiatif Komuniti Asean 2015, kata Direktur Layanan Informasi

Internasional, Direktorat General Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik, Selamatta

Sembiring.

Beliau berkata kerjasama Komuniti 1Malaysia (K1M) di Malaysia, Kelompok

Informasi Masyarakat (KIM) di Indonesia dan Perwakilan Majlis Perundingan Mukim

dan Kampung di Brunei mampu memperkukuh dan membangunkan tiga tunjang utama

inisiatif iaitu keselamatan, ekonomi dan sosio-budaya.

"Sekiranya kita melakukan usaha meningkatkan ''pillar'' (tunjang) ini secara

bersama usaha itu akan menjadi lebih mudah dan lebih berkesan. Namun penting

juga bagi kita mempelajari antara satu sama lain.

"Setiap daripada kita punyai kemahiran masing-masing, selain berkongsi

kemahiran ini kita juga perlu sesama sendiri membantu antara sama lain untuk

menyelesaikan masalah rakan komuniti kita melalui kemahiran yang tersedia (kita

ada)," katanya kepada Bernama.

Beliau terdahulu menerima kunjungan delegasi tujuh anggota K1M dan delegasi

enam anggota Perwakilan Majlis Perundingan Mukim dan Kampung Brunei, yang dalam

rangka lawatan sekitar Sumatera Utara, di sini.

KERJASAMA-ASEAN 2 MEDAN

Penubuhan Komuniti Asean dipersetujui pemimpin negara Asean pada Sidang

Kemuncak Asean ke-9 di Bali, Indonesia pada Oktober 2003. Inisiatif itu

merupakan usaha negara Asean bagi membentuk kerjasama lebih erat dalam

mempercepat pembangunan dalam tiga tunjang itu.

Selamatta memberikan contoh pembangunan dalam tunjang ekonomi mampu

dipercepatkan dengan kerjasama kumpulan komuniti itu dengan kerjasama pemasaran

produk antara negara.

"Kumpulan komuniti di Malaysia dan Brunei misalnya boleh meneroka

(mengenal pasti) produk dihasilkan kumpulan komuniti Indonesia untuk dipasarkan

di negara masing-masing. Begitu juga sebaliknya.

"Bila ini dapat dilaksana dengan berkesan, ekonomi komuniti Malaysia,

Indonesia dan Brunei dapat ditingkatkan secara bersama selaras dengan peranan

(objektif) Komuniti Asean 2015," katanya.

Ketua Delegasi K1M, Mohd Isa Jasin sependapat dengan Selamatta dan menambah

anggota K1M perlu meninjau bagaimana KIM Indonesia mampu menghasilkan barangan

dengan harga murah sambil mengekalkan kualiti yang tinggi.

KERJASAMA-ASEAN 3 (AKHIR) MEDAN

"K1M perlu mempelajari apa yang telah dilakukan kumpulan komuniti di negara

jiran tetangga ini bagi mengukuh gerak kerja dalam K1M itu sendiri. Selain itu

kemahiran dalam penghasilan produk seperti kraftangan perlu ditingkatkan dalam

menghasilkan variasi produk untuk dipasarkan. Saya percaya usaha ini mampu

menyumbang dalam membangunkan Komuniti Asean 2015," katanya.

Mohd Isa berkata sehingga kini terdapat 1,195 K1M di seluruh Malaysia dan

kerajaan Malaysia menyasarkan penubuhan 2,000 K1M menjelang akhir tahun ini.

"Penubuhan lebih 800 K1M ini kita sasarkan untuk lebih komuniti bukan

Melayu, selaras dengan gagasan 1Malaysia. Kita ada lebih 100 suku kaum di

Malaysia, maka kita harap setiap suku kaum ini mempunyai K1M masing-masing bagi

meningkatkan kehidupan dalam komuniti mereka," katanya.

Ketua Delegasi Perwakilan Majlis Perundingan Mukim dan Kampung Brunei, Awang

Abd Karim Abu Bakar berkata kerjasama antara kumpulan komuniti itu mampu menjadi

komponen utama untuk mengukuh perpaduan antara rakyat dalam negara Asean.

"Kumpulan komuniti ini perlu mengadakan kerjasama dalam pelbagai sektor

utama antaranya pelancongan seperti menyediakan pakej pelancongan tiga negara

selain kerjasama dalam bidang pembuatan," katanya.

Mempunyai objektif yang hampir serupa K1M di Malaysia, KIM di Indonesia dan

Perwakilan Majlis Perundingan Mukim dan Kampung di Brunei merupakan inisiatif

masyarakat setempat dengan sokongan kerajaan bagi melaksanakan pelbagai projek

peningkatan sosioekonomi terutamanya di kawasan luar bandar.
