TAWAU, 12 Julai (Bernama) -- Seorang lagi hari ini didakwa di Mahkamah

Tinggi atas tuduhan menjadi anggota kumpulan pengganas berkaitan dengan insiden

pencerobohan pengganas di Lahad Datu pada Februari lalu.

Habil Suhaili mengaku tidak bersalah atas pertuduhan melakukan kesalahan itu

dari 9 Feb 2013 hingga 4 Mac 2013 di Jalan Kastam Lama di Lahad Datu dalam

daerah Lahad Datu.

Habil menjadi orang yang ke-30 didakwa di mahkamah atas pelbagai pertduuhan

berhubung insiden di Lahad Datu itu.

Habil yang diwakili kumpulan peguam yang diketuai James Tsai, didakwa

mengikut Seksyen 130KA Kanun Keseksaan yang membawa hukuman penjara seumur

hidup dan boleh didenda jika sabit kesalahan.

Pendakwaan dilakukan oleh Peguam Negara Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail di hadapan

Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi P.Ravinthran yang bersidang di Penjara Tawau di sini hari

ini.

MAHKAMAH-CEROBOH 2 (AKHIR) TAWAU

Ketika ditemui wakil media di luar penjara, Abdul Gani berkata mahkamah

bersetuju supaya kes Habil dipindahkan ke Mahkamah Tinggi Kota Kinabalu dan

dibicarakan bersama dengan kes-kes lain di sana.

Katanya mahkamah menetapkan 15 Julai (Isnin) untuk pengurusan kes

berkenaan.

Pada 27 Jun lalu, 29 individu yang didakwa dengan pelbagai kesalahan

berkaitan aktiviti keganasan di Sabah mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Tinggi

Kota Kinabalu dan kesemua mereka akan dibicarakan serentak.

Sementara itu James Tsai berkata kumpulan peguamnya yang dilantik kerajaan

Filipina setakat ini mewakili 22 tertuduh.
