KUALA LUMPUR, 1 Dis (Bernama) -- Koperasi Muslimin Malaysia Berhad (KMMB) hari

ini mengumumkan prestasi kutipan hutang yang lebih baik pada tahun ini,

berbanding tahun 2010. Setakat bulan November 2011, sejumlah RM2.954 juta hutang

tertunggak (NPF) berjaya dikutip, berbanding hanya RM2.273 juta sahaja kutipan

untuk tempoh yang sama pada tahun lalu.

Peningkatan hampir 30% itu adalah sejajar dengan Strategi Kedua dalam Rancangan

Perniagaan KMMB tahun 2011 iaitu Memperkasakan Struktur Perniagaan Koperasi

Dengan Penjanaan Pendapatan Melebihi RM8 juta.

Di dalam Strategi tersebut, antara Plan Tindakan yang dilaksanakan adalah

Meningkatkan Kutipan Hutang dan Kawalan Kredit. Melalui Plan Tindakan ini,

pelbagai inisiatif telah dirancang dan dilaksanakan oleh pihak Pengurusan KMMB,

bermula dengan memperkasakan Unit Kawalan Kredit di Jabatan Kewangan KMMB.

Unit Kawalan Kredit yang terdiri daripada empat orang petugas, diketuai oleh En.

Abdul Latif Malek telah mengambil pendekatan berhemah dalam menangani para

penghutang tegar. Ada yang mempunyai tunggakan bayaran balik melebihi 48 bulan,

dan enggan menjawab apabila dihubungi oleh petugas kawalan kredit.

Antara langkah yang diambil adalah dengan menghantar peringatan berterusan

menerusi khidmat Sistem Mesej Singkat (SMS), panggilan telefon selain notis

peringatan. “Kami juga menggunakan khidmat agen kutipan luar yang nyata memiliki

data-base pelanggan yang lebih luas demi menjejakki anggota yang telah berpindah

atau bertukar alamat tanpa memaklumkan kepada koperasi”, kata petugas di unit

tersebut.

Hanya penghutang yang benar-benar tegar, setelah diberi notis peringatan dan

panggilan amaran, tetapi masih enggan menjelaskan tunggakan hutang, akan

diserahkan kepada pihak peguam untuk tindakan guaman selanjutnya. Antara

tindakan yang boleh diambil adalah saman tuntutan, gadaian atas cagaran yang

diberikan ataupun tindakan muflis ke atas peminjam.

Dengan pelbagai kaedah ini, kutipan bulanan hutang mencecah purata RM268 ribu

sebulan dengan kutipan tertinggi dicatatkan pada bulan Oktober lalu sebanyak

RM588 ribu. KMMB juga menawarkan ibra’ atau diskaun kepada anggotanya yang

membuat penyelesaian awal ke atas baki hutang mereka. Dengan tawaran ibra’ ini,

ramai anggota yang mendapat kembali pulangan wang daripada keseluruhan hutang

yang mereka jelaskan kepada KMMB.

Prestasi ini juga diraih hasil dari pemantauan berterusan daripada pengurusan

kanan KMMB yang telah menubuhkan Task Force (Pasukan Petugas Khas) yang memantau

prestasi kutipan hutang secara berkala. “Adakalanya Task Force bermesyuarat

setiap hari untuk memantau secara dekat prestasi setiap penghutang. Tindakan

yang diputuskan, dipastikan dilaksanakan segera agar para peminjam diberi

peringatan berterusan”, kata petugas kawalan kredit itu lagi.

Task Force yang diketuai sendiri oleh Ir. Ahmad Jais, berjaya meningkatkan

persefahaman dan kerjasama di kalangan petugas unit kawalan kredit khususnya,

dan semua anggota pasukan tersebut amnya. “Semangat kerjasama berpasukan inilah

sebenarnya rahsia kejayaan kami”, kata beliau, mengakhiri perbualan ini.
