Fund Management Board (Tabung Haji) complex in Mukim Kuala Nerus here is

expected to be completed on schedule.

The board''s senior general manager for corporate finance and services, Mohd

Hisham Harun said work on the complex costing RM70.3 million had already begun

with five per cent done.

"The board''s operation at the complex is expected to begin in July next

year," he told reporters at the handing over of zakat (tithe) collection by the

board to the Terengganu Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (Maidam),

here, today.

Tabung Haji obtained approval in June 1995 to build the complex on a 3.2ha

piece of land near the Sultan Mahmud Airport. The project is being developed by

TH Properties Sdn Bhd, its wholly-owned subsidiary.
