LAJIM, BUMBURING PERTAHAN BEAUFORT DAN TUARAN

PETALING JAYA, 17 April (Bernama) -- Presiden Pakatan Perubahan Sabah (PPS)

Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin akan mempertahan kerusi Parlimen Beaufort, Sabah yang

dimenangi beliau pada pilihan raya 2008 dan bertanding di Dewan Undangan Negeri

(DUN) Klias pada pilihan raya umum ke-13 (PRU13).

Presiden Angkatan Perubahan Sabah (SRF) dan penyandang Parlimen Tuaran Datuk

Seri Wilfred Bumburing juga akan mempertahan kerusi itu, yang dimenangi beliau

pada 2008 dan bertanding di DUN Tamparuli.

Keputusan itu diumumkan mereka pada sidang akhbar di ibu pejabat Parti

Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) di sini hari ini, yang turut dihadiri Timbalan Presiden

PKR Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Lajim berkata selain Beaufort, PPS yang merupakan badan bukan kerajaan

(NGO), akan bertanding atas tiket PKR bagi kerusi Parlimen Papar, Kimanis dan

Sipitang serta 11 DUN.

Bumburing pula berkata SRF akan bertanding di Parlimen Tenom, Beluran, Kota

Marudu dan Pensiangan serta 12 DUN, juga menggunakan tiket PKR.

SABAH-CALON 2 (AKHIR) PETALING JAYA

Pada pilihan raya 2008, Lajim dan Bumburing yang bertanding atas tiket

Barisan Nasional (BN) masing-masing menewaskan Lajim Md Yusof daripada PKR

dengan majoriti 10,914 undi dan Ajin @ Nazin Gagah (BEBAS) serta Umsery @ Asari

Abdullah dari PKR dengan majoriti 6,622 undi.

Pada 28 Julai tahun lepas, Lajim yang merupakan Timbalan Menteri Perumahan

dan Kerajaan Tempatan, melepaskan jawatan sebagai anggota Majlis Tertinggi Umno,

Ketua Umno bahagian serta Pengerusi BN Beaufort berkuat kuasa serta-merta dan

menubuhkan PPS.

Sehari kemudian, Bumburing yang juga Timbalan Presiden Pertubuhan

Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Bersatu (UPKO) mengumumkan keluar parti dan

menubuhkan SRF.

Sabah mempunyai 25 kerusi Parlimen dan 60 kerusi DUN.
