Kedah mengangkat sumpah jawatan sebagai anggota majlis mesyuarat kerajaan negeri

(Exco) hari ini.

Istiadat mengangkat sumpah pada Majlis Pelantikan Ahli-ahli Mesyuarat

Kerajaan Negeri Kedah dilakukan di hadapan anggota Jemaah Pemangku Sultan Kedah

yang dipengerusikan oleh Tan Sri Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah di Istana Anak

Bukit di sini.

Ini merupakan kali pertama kesemua mereka memegang jawatan Exco dengan empat

daripadanya pula kali pertama menjadi wakil rakyat selepas menang pada pilihan

raya umum ke-13 (PRU13), 5 mei lepas.

Adun Guar Chempedak Datuk Ku Abd Rahman Ku Ismail dilantik sebagai Pengerusi

Jawatankuasa Industri dan Pelaburan, Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Hal Ehwal

Pengguna dan Koperasi, manakala Adun Sungai Tiang Datuk Suraya Yaacob pula

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pembangunan Wanita, Kebajikan Masyarakat, Pertanian dan

Asas Tani, Pembangunan Usahawan.

Adun Tanjung Dawai Datuk Tajul Urus Mat Zain dilantik Pengerusi Jawatankuasa

Pendidikan, Pengangkutan dan Kerja Raya; Adun Kuala Nerang Badrul Hisham Hashim

(Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kerajaan Tempatan, Bekalan Air, Sumber Air dan Tenaga,

Perumahan dan Pembangunan Insan); Adun Ayer Hangat Mohd Rawi Abd Hamid

Aminuddin Omar (Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Belia dan Sukan, Kesenian, Kebudayaan dan

Warisan, Badan-badan Bukan Kerajaan); dan Adun Bandar Baharu Noor Sabrina Mohd

Noor (Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Sains, Inovasi dan Teknologi Maklumat, Komunikasi

dan Teknologi Tinggi).

Menteri Besar Datuk Mukhriz Tun Dr Mahathir memegang portfolio Perancang

Ekonomi Negeri, Perancang Negeri, Hal Ehwal Tanah, Hasil Bumi dan Sumber Asli,

Majlis Tindakan Negeri, Kewangan & Syarikat Milik Kerajaan Negeri.

Terdapat dua lagi kekosongan untuk jawatan Exco kerajaan negeri Kedah dengan

satu daripadanya untuk wakil MCA.

Turut berangkat pada majlis itu ialah tiga lagi Anggota Jemaah Pemangku

Sultan Kedah iaitu Tan Sri Tunku Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah, Datuk Seri Tunku

Abdul Hamid Thani Sultan Badlishah dan Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Tuanku

Abdul Halim Mu''adzam Shah.
