TANJONG KARANG, 4 Mei (Bernama) -- Seorang lelaki yang sedang melakukan aksi

paragliding terjatuh dan terhempas di atas bumbung sebuah rumah di Taman Seri

Jaya di sini petang ini yang menyebabkan beliau cedera.

Mangsa merupakan seorang warga asing dan anggota pasukan pemain paramotor,

yang dipercayai sedang berkempen untuk seorang calon di sini.

Saksi kejadian, Mohd Fairul Rasulizam, 18, berkata beliau sedang makan di

rumahnya apabila tiba-tiba terdengar bunyi dentuman kuat dan melihat seorang

lelaki terperosok ke dalam rumahnya.

"Dia berlumuran darah, saya terus bantu potong tali yang terjuntai pada

badan mangsa," katanya ketika ditemui di lokasi kejadian di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata kejadian itu berlaku pada kira-kira pukul 5.30 petang ini.

PARAGLIDING-JATUH 2 (AKHIR) TANJONG KARANG

Mohd Fairul berkata beberapa minit kemudian seorang lelaki dipercayai

anggota kumpulan paramotor itu tiba di tempat kejadian dan membawa mangsa ke

Hospital Tanjong Karang di sini untuk rawatan.

"Lelaki itu meminta maaf dan berjanji akan tanggung kerugian akibat kejadian

itu," katanya.

Pemilik rumah berkenaan, Samsiah Johari berkata beliau kesal dengan kejadian

itu kerana ia membahayakan penduduk sekitar, lebih-lebih lagi anggota lain

kumpulan itu pula tetap meneruskan aktiviti selepas kemalangan yang menimpa

rakan mereka.

"Patutnya bila sudah berlaku kemalangan berhentilah, tapi mereka tetap

teruskan bawa bendera parti, kempen begini menyusahkan dan membahayakan orang

awam," katanya yang akan menuntut ganti rugi dari pihak yang bertanggungjawab.

Akibat kejadian itu, rumah pusaka yang didiaminya sejak lebih 30 tahun itu

rosak pada bahagian atap manakala beberapa perabot dalam rumah itu juga rosak.

Sementara itu, seorang rakan mangsa yang enggan dikenali berkata mangsa

bernama Georges Marie Rabineay, 34, warganegara Perancis.

Ketua Polis Daerah Kuala Selangor, Supt Muhd Taib Ahmad ketika dihubungi

mengesahkan menerima laporan mengenai kejadian itu dan siasatan sedang

dijalankan berhubung kemalangan itu.
