KUALA LUMPUR, 9 Feb (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines hari ini mengumumkan

bermula 14 Feb, penumpangnya akan menikmati tambahan 10 kilo kebenaran bagasi

tambahan dan caj lebihan bagasi yang lebih rendah untuk perjalanan dalam semua

kelas.

Di bawah garis panduan bagasi baharu itu, semua penumpang dewasa dan

kanak-kanak akan menikmati kebenaran membawa masuk 30, 40 dan 50 kg bagasi

percuma untuk perjalanan dalam kelas ekonomi, bisnes dan pertama.

Tambahan bagasi ini merangkumi semua perjalanan bermula tarikh ini walaupun

tiket yang dikeluarkan sebelum itu menunjukkan kebenaran bagasi percuma yang

lebih rendah.

Manfaat ini diperkenalkan untuk semua penerbangan melibatkan konsep sistem

berat untuk pemeriksaan masuk bagasi, kecuali perjalanan ke dan dari Los Angeles

di mana caj adalah berdasarkan sistem bilangan beg.

"Polisi bagasi periksa masuk yang disemak semula itu meningkatkan tawaran

produk kami dalam landskap bersaingan sengit industri penerbangan komersil. ini

juga sejajar dengan strategi Rancangan Perniagaan kami iaitu ‘Menarik Semula

Pelanggan''," kata ketua pegawai eksekutif kumpulan Ahmad Jauhari Yahya dalam

satu kenyataan.

Caj untuk berat yang melebihi berat percuma baharu akan dikira mengikut zon

perjalanan dengan kadar tetap dikenakan bagi setiap 5 kilo lebihan bagasi.

Kadar bagasi lebihan bagi setiap blok 5 kilo lebihan adalah RM30, RM60 dan

RM90, mengikut zon perjalanan.

Di Malaysia, kadar RM30 dikenakan bagi setiap sektor di seluruh negara dan

negara-negara Asean seperti Singapura, Brunei, Indonesia, Filipina, Myanmar,

Thailand, Vietnam dan Kemboja.

Kadar RM60 dikenakan kepada sektor luar Malaysia dan ASEAN, iaitu India,

China, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Jepun,

Korea, New Zealand dan Australia.

Kadar antara benua RM90 pula dikenakan kepada semua penerbangan di antara

Malaysia dan Jeddah, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt dan Istanbul.

Garis panduan caj ini tertakluk kepada perjalanan dengan Malaysia Airlines

dan tidak meliputi penerbangan perkongsian kod serta perjalanan dengan lain-lain

pesawat.
