KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Julai (Bernama) -- Malaysia hari ini melahirkan kebimbangan

terhadap konflik politik terbaharu di Mesir, yang menyaksikan Presiden Mohamed

Morsi digulingkan.

Menteri Luar Datuk Seri Anifah Aman berkata Kuala Lumpur berharap Kaherah

dapat menyelesaikan ketidakstabilan politik itu secara aman sekaligus

membolehkan proses demoskrasi dikembalikan semula.

"Malaysia berharap semua pihak yang bertelagah di Mesir dapat menghormati

undang-undang dan bertindak secara bertanggungjawab serta mengelakkan dari

segala bentuk keganasan," katanya dalam kenyataan di sini, hari ini.

Anifah berkata Wisma Putra bersama-sama Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kaherah

memantau secara dekat perkembangan di Mesir untuk memastikan rakyat negara ini

berada dalam keadaan selamat sepanjang masa.

Setakat ini, semua rakyat Malaysia di Mesir dilapor selamat dan mereka

dinasihat supaya menjauhi kawasan konflik seperti Dataran Tahrir, Dataran Rabaa

di Nasr City dan Dataran Al-Nahda berhadapan Universiti Kaherah, katanya.

Selain itu, beliau menasihatkan rakyat Malaysia di Mesir supaya mematuhi

garis panduan keselamatan yang dikeluarkan pihak berkuasa tempatan serta

menghadkan pergerakan mereka.

Mereka juga diingatkan untuk terus berhubung rapat dengan Kedutaan Besar
