Mitsubishi Pajero Sport VGT Euro

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has launched a new variant of its ever popular Pajero, which comes packed with features that allow it to cope on as well as off-road.

The Pajero nameplate is synonymous with durability and reliability here in Malaysia. It has been the longstanding workhorse of the Malaysian civil service and Police force for many years. Mitsubishi’s latest iteration of the Pajero sports more modern creature comforts while still retaining its off-road ability.

Now, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has officially launched a new variant of the Pajero called the Pajero Sport VGT Euro and it will be a limited run vehicle with the company saying it will only produce 250 such Pajeros.

GPS with Bluetooth and iPod ConnectivityThis SUV comes with six airbagsThis variant comes packed with features and can be had with a front airdam, sunroof, six airbags, 8-way driver’s power seat and a more premium looking exterior with a new aerodynamic bodykit. Standard equipment includes a reverse camera, magnesium paddle shifters, auto rain and light sensors, auto air conditioner and GPS navigation with iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.

Mitsubishi has equipped the Pajero Sport VGT Euro with the tried and tested 2.5-litre Common Rail direct injection diesel engine. Its fitted with a Variable Geometry Turbo that helps to provide better power and torque figures. As such the engine produces 176bhp and a healthy 350Nm of torque.

As this is an off-road capable vehicle, the Pajero Sport VGT Euro is equipped with a front and rear coil spring suspension with a stabiliser bar that enables better and more precise handling especially at high speeds. It has a RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body with side impact bars that can protect occupants during an accident.

All-wheel-drive allows the Pajero to take on any terrainTo cope with the rough outdoors, the Pajero Sport VGT Euro comes with the Super Select 4WD system. It provides four modes to deal with various driving conditions, which are 2H, 4H, 4HLc and 4LLc.

Rear view of the Pajero Sport VGT EuroAs for safety, this Pajero has it all including ABS with EBD, a Hybrid Limited Slip Differential (LSD) and a safety brake pedal. MMM has priced the Pajero Sport VGT Euro at RM 180,550.00 and with that you get a 2-year maintenance-free and a 5-year warranty package. The rugged and elegant SUV comes with two choices of colours, which are White Pearl and Black Mica.
