Orlando Pirates' Mbuyane not worried about Nedbank Cup injury

Orlando Pirates midfielder Thulasizwe Mbuyane has dispelled fears that he might have suffered a serious injury, after he pulled out of the Nedbank Cup match against Ethekwini Coastal on Saturday.

Mbuyane was forced to leave the pitch in the first half because of what was suspected to be a calf injury, and was replaced by Thandani Ntshumayelo.

But 'Juju' assures The Ghost that he will be available for the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs this Saturday."It's not a serious injury, I can walk now," he told KickOff.com.

"I am going to see the physio on Monday but I am confident I will be up and running by Tuesday."

Meanwhile, Pirates will miss Andile Jali for the League game against Santos in Cape Town on Wednesday, as he is suspended.

Jali received his third booking during the Nedbank Cup game on Saturday.
