Pembantu rumah disyaki lambung bayi ditahan reman sehingga esok

KUANTAN, 17 Feb (Bernama) -- Seorang pembantu warga Indonesia ditahan reman sehingga esok bagi membantu siasatan berhubung kes seorang bayi berusia empat bulan yang cedera akibat dilambung.

Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Kuantan, Supt Aziz Ahmad berkata pembantu rumah berusia 24 tahun itu disiasat mengikut Seksyen 31(1) Akta Kanak-kanak 2010.

"Suspek ditahan sejak 15 Feb lepas. Pihak polis masih menunggu laporan lengkap daripada pihak Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan Kuantan berhubung keadaan bayi lelaki berkenaan," katanya kepada Bernama hari ini.

Pada 15 Feb lepas, bapa bayi itu yang berusia 42 tahun membuat laporan polis berhubung kejadian pembantu rumahnya yang bertindak melambung bayinya di ruang tamu sehingga terjatuh dan mengalami lebam-lebam di tangan dan cedera di kaki kiri.

Lelaki berkenaan melihat kejadian itu menerusi rakaman kamera litar tertutup melalui komputer riba semasa minum pagi di sebuah restoran pada 7.45 pagi.

Lelaki berkenaan bergegas pulang ke rumahnya di Bukit Setongkol dan membawa bayinya ke hospital untuk pemeriksaan lanjut.

Bayi itu kini dirawat di hospital berkenaan dan dilapor dalam keadaan stabil.
