KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Mac (Bernama) -- Penginapan Asia merupakan antara yang

paling optimistik tentang prospek perniagaan mereka pada tahun 2013, demikian

menurut laman pelancongan, TripAdvisor.

Hasil berkenaan didapati daripada kajian yang dijalankan bagi pihaknya oleh

firma penyelidikan bebas, StrategyOne, dan melibatkan lebih daripada 35,000

pelancong dan penginapan di peringkat global.

Dalam satu kenyataan hari ini, TripAdvisor berkata laporan itu menunjukkan

73 peratus daripada pelancong Malaysia merancang untuk meningkatkan perbelanjaan

perjalanan mereka tahun ini, yang jauh melebihi purata rantau Asia sebanyak 49

peratus.

"Penginapan di Asia melihat tahun lepas pada tahap memuaskan, setelah 79

peratus daripada 1,600 penginapan di rantau ini yang ditinjau untuk kaji selidik

''TripBarometer'', melaporkan bahawa 2012 berjaya secara ekonomi

bagi mereka.

"Malah, 24 peratus daripada pemilik penginapan menggambarkan

2012 sebagai sangat menguntungkan," katanya.

TripAdvisor berkata penemuan berkenaan melaporkan bahawa Asia adalah pada

kedudukan kukuh berbanding kawasan-kawasan lain, dan pemilik penginapan di Asia

merupakan antara yang paling berkeyakinan di dunia, dengan 72 peratus menyatakan

mereka yakin tentang kebarangkalian tahun ini, yang melebihi sedikit purata

global sebanyak 68 peratus.

Pelancong dari Timur Tengah (75 peratus) dan Amerika Selatan (58 peratus)

juga merancang untuk menghabiskan lagi terutamanya bagi perjalanan tahun ini dan

di seluruh dunia, 50 peratus daripada pelancong menjangka perbelanjaan

perjalanan mereka meningkat tahun ini.

"TripBarometer mendedahkan bahawa 69 peratus daripada pelancong di seluruh

dunia menggunakan laman web ulasan perjalanan apabila meninjau dan merancang

perjalanan mereka.

"Ia mendedahkan pandangan yang berguna kepada apa yang pelancong global

merancang dan memberi panduan kepada bidang di mana pembekal penginapan boleh

lakukan dengan lebih lagi untuk memenuhi jangkaan tetamu," kata Presiden

TripAdvisor bagi Perniagaan, Christine Petersen.

Beliau berkata dengan pelancong memilih saluran digital untuk perancangan

perjalanan dan penyelidikan, kaedah tradisional secara lisan telah diperluaskan

dan tempahan dalam talian menjadi kebiasaan di seluruh dunia.

"Langkah logik seterusnya adalah mudah alih, terutama dengan pelancong dalam

beberapa pasaran baru muncul memintas desktop dan menggunakan dalam talian untuk

yang pertama menggunakan peranti mudah alih," katanya.
