berkata pengurusan cekap oleh syarikat dan agensi di bawah kerajaan negeri dapat

memberi pulangan yang lebih baik kepada negeri ini yang akan turut dinikmati

rakyat.

Musa yang juga Menteri Kewangan negeri berkata ini terbukti apabila agensi

dan syarikat terbabit mendapat keuntungan baik selain menerima dividen yang

tinggi.

"Alhamdulillah, di Sabah terbukti agensi kerajaan negeri hampir semua boleh

mendapat keuntungan baik di mana mereka yang berhutang, membayar hutang

kepada kerajaan dan tidak membayar (memberi pulangan) dalam bentuk dividen,"

katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Kursus Ahli Lembaga Pengarah Badan

Berkanun negeri di sini, hari ini.

Beliau berkata bagi yang membayar dalam bentuk dividen, beratus juta dividen

yang diterima kerajaan negeri daripada agensi-agensi ini dapat digunakan untuk

rakyat.

Musa berkata negeri yang ditadbir dengan baik dapat memanfaatkan rakyat

untuk menikmati hidup yang sejahtera hasil pelbagai program oleh badan-badan

berkanun mahupun agensi kerajaan yang lain.

Selain itu, beliau berkata keuntungan yang diperoleh itu ditambah dengan

program tanggungjawab sosial korporat (CSR) bagi menolong golongan rakyat yang

memerlukan bantuan terutama ibu tunggal, warga emas dan penambahbaikan sekolah

dan asrama desa.

"...ini semua untuk kebaikan kepada seluruh rakyat di negeri ini apabila

kita mempunyai pengurusan atau tadbir urus kewangan yang baik boleh membantu

kerajaan dan memberi manfaat kepada rakyat," katanya.

Terdahulu ketika berucap, Musa meminta pihak pengurusan atasan supaya

menunjukkan prestasi yang tinggi untuk berhadapan sebarang cabaran situasi

ekonomi semasa bagi melaksanakan pengurusan yang efisien dan akauntabiliti.

Beliau berkata sebagai pengerusi dan ahli lembaga pengarah sesebuah agensi

dan badan berkanun, mereka perlu memainkan peranan penting bagi memegang amanah

serta tangungjawab dengan penuh komitmen tinggi untuk menerajui syarikat yang

berjaya.

Dalam pada itu, beliau berharap kursus tahunan anjuran Kementerian Kewangan

negeri yang merupakan sebahagian daripada usaha kerajaan negeri dapat

meningkatkan amalan tadbir urus yang baik termasuk dari segi perundangan dan

peraturan semasa.

"Di samping itu, mewujudkan kesedaran terhadap peranan dan tanggungjawab

sebagai wakil kerajaan dalam kapasiti sebagai ahli lembaga pengarah badan

berkanun negeri dan syarikat berkaitan kerajaan atau GLC," katanya

Justeru, Musa menyeru semua anggota lembaga supaya memastikan badan

berkanun atau GLC sentiasa berada pada kedudukan yang kukuh serta sentiasa

mendapat keuntungan dan berkemampuan untuk membayar hutang atau dividen kepada

kerajaan.
