Gabungan pertubuhan bukan kerajaan (NGO) Melayu-Islam menegaskan penyelesaian 10-perkara dengan Kristian hanyalah satu polisi dan bukannya undang-undang yang boleh dikuatkuasakan, sambil mempertahankan serbuan Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (Jais) ke atas Persatuan Bible Malaysia (PBM).

Jurucakap sembilan pertubuhan tersebut, Datuk Zulkifli Nordin (gambar) berkata sesebuah polisi tidak boleh membelakangi mana-mana undang-undang di dalam negara.

"Penyelesaian 10-perkara tersebut hanyalah sebuah polisi, ianya tidak boleh membelakangi sebuah undang-undang," kata Zulkifli dalam sidang media di pejabat Pertubuhan Masyarakat Sejahtera Malaysia (Muafakat) hari ini.

Zulkifli kemudian menjelaskan tindakan Jais menyerbu PBM adalah kerana melakukan kesalahan jenayah di bawah Mahkamah Sivil.

"Tindakan Jais adalah dalam menguatkuasakan peruntukan undang-undang jenayah iaitu Seksyen 9 Enakmen Pengawalan Pengembangan Agama Bukan Islam 1988 yang berkuatkuasa di negeri Selangor," kata Zulkifli mempertahankan serbuan Jais.

Menurut Zulkifli lagi, tindakan Jais menyerbu premis PBM berasaskan penerbitan Injil berbahasa Melayu dan Iban tersebut telah melanggar Seksyen 9, iaitu disyaki mengandungi perkataan-perkataan yang dilarang penggunaannya termasuk kalimah Allah.

"Ini adalah satu kesalahan jenayah yang jika cukup bukti boleh dikenakan pertuduhan jenayah di Mahkamah Jenayah Sivil," tegasnya lagi.

Kumpulan NGO tersebut juga mengecam keras kenyataan oleh Pengerusi Majlis Perundingan Perpaduan Nasional (MPPN), Tan Sri Samsudin Osman yang membidas serbuan Jais kerana membelakangi penyelesaian 10-perkara.

"10-perkara itu adalah berkaitan dengan soal kemasukan dan pengimportan Injil versi berbahasa Melayu ke dalam negara ini.

"Ia langsung tidak menyentuh dan tidak ada kena-mengena dengan isu kalimah Allah," kata Zulkifli lagi.

Zulkifli juga mempersoalkan tindakan gopoh MPPN kerana tidak memanggil Jais terlebih dahulu bagi mendapatkan penjelasan, sebaliknya menunding jari tanpa memberi peluang untuk mereka membuat penjelasan.

"Kami kesal melihat pihak MPPN seolah-olah tergesa-gesa dan gopoh dalam menangani isu ini.

"Mengapa MPPN tidak panggil semua pihak yang berkepentingan untuk memberi penjelasan atau hujah sebelum MPPN membuat sebarang keputusan?" katanya lagi.

Dalam pada itu, Ketua Penerangan Perkasa Muhamad Zahid Mat Arip dalam sidang media yang sama mendesak supaya MPPN melantik tiga ulama supaya dapat memainkan peranan yang lebih seimbang dan berkesan.

"Kami mendesak supaya MPPN melantik tiga tokoh agama yang boleh dianggap sebagai ulama dalam majlis ini," katanya.

Zulkifli turut menyokong cadangan memasukkan golongan ulama dalam majlis tersebut.

"Apa yang kami khuatirkan ialah kelak nanti timbul persepsi seolah-olah MPPN dipenuhi oleh golongan tertentu yang mewakili suara kumpulan tertentu dan sekadar menjadi suara kepada pihak berkepentingan," katanya lagi.

Kontroversi kalimah Allah mendapat perhatian umum kembali selepas Pengarang Herald, Paderi Lawrence Andrew berkata gereja Katolik di Selangor akan terus menggunakan kalimah Allah dalam perhimpunan mingguannya yang menggunakan Bahasa Melayu walaupun Jais telah menghantar notis peringatan mengenai larangan penggunaan kalimah itu oleh orang bukan Islam.

Susulan kontroversi tersebut, Jais pada minggu lepas telah merampas lebih 300 Bible berbahasa Melayu dan Iban di premis PBM di Damansara Kim, Selangor. – 7 Januari, 2014.
