Peugeot 208 gets Park Assist – sorry, UK only.
Peugeot UK will expand the popular 208 range with the introduction of a special edition, the Peugeot 208 Intuitive.
Available a choice of petrol or diesel, and three or five door hatchback, the 208 Intuitive will be packed with even more equipment and showcase Park Assist – the automatic parallel parking feature. The availability of Park Assist is a first in a Peugeot.
The 208 Intuitive models will feature a range of extra equipment as standard besides Park Assist – 16” alloy wheels, Satellite Navigation, Cielo Roof with ambient lighting, directional front fog lights, Automatic Dual Zone Air conditioning and LED surround on the instrument dials.
Aside from extras are the standard equipment: ABS, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Emergency Brake Assist, power steering, six airbags, remote control central locking with deadlocks, three rear three-point seat belts, 2/3-1/3 split folding rear sears, steering column adjustable for reach and rake, radio/ single CD player, trip computer, Cruise Control with speed limiter, electrically operated / heated door mirrors and air-conditioning.
All from a starting price of ￡14,245.00 on the road which works out at less than RM69,500.00.
Perhaps as these are right hand drive models, a few may make their way into the Malaysian market when the 208 is launched here.
