Travel like a Lannister – for less
To put it mildly, Game of Thrones travel is pretty hot right now. The show’s near-cult following has spawned a host of travel operators specialising in group tours to the series’ various filming locations.
But if being surrounded by smartphone-snapping fanatics dressed like their favourite Lannister/Stark/Targaryen isn’t exactly your idea of a perfect holiday, there are far better ways to get that magical Westeros experience.
Of course, you’ll need a castle. The most surprising news is that’s the easiest part, and it won’t cost you a king’s ransom.
