MELAKA, 23 Feb (Bernama) -- Sejumlah RM85.5 juta diperuntukkan oleh tiga

agensi persekutuan, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara), Yayasan Tekun Nasional (Tekun)

dan Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) sebagai pinjaman perniagaan bagi membantu

usahawan di negeri ini untuk mengembang dan memajukan perniagaan mereka pada

tahun ini, kata Ketua Menteri Melaka, Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.

Beliau berkata daripada jumlah itu, Mara memperuntukkan RM30.5 juta bagi

pembangunan usahawan.

"Tekun pula memperuntukkan sehingga RM20 juta sebagai bantuan pinjaman

kepada golongan usahawan di negeri ini," katanya ketika berucap pada majlis

perasmian Festival Industri Kecil Sederhana (FIKS) 2013 di sini, hari ini.

Turut hadir di majlis itu ialah Pengurus bahagian Perusahaan Kecil Sederhana

Jabatan Ketua Menteri Melaka, Azlieza Azizan dan Rektor Universiti Teknologi

Melaka (UiTM), Profesor Madya Dr Mohd Adnan Hashim.

Beliau berkata sebanyak RM35 juta pula diperuntukkan AIM bagi usahawan

wanita di negeri itu dengan had pinjaman sehingga RM50,000.

Katanya kerajaan negeri turut menyediakan pelbagai jenis pinjaman termasuk

kepada belia berusia antara 18 hingga 30 tahun di bawah dana Tabung Usahawan

Muda (YEF) yang memperuntukkan pinjaman antara RM50,000 hingga RM10,000.

Mohd Ali berkata selain pinjaman, usahawan di negeri itu juga berpeluang

memperbaiki strategi pemasaran produk pertanian dan industri asas tani keluaran

mereka melalui bantuan Lembaga Pemasaran Pertanian Persekutuan (Fama).

Beliau berkata Fama telah memberikan bantuan kepada 228 peniaga dalam

bentuk ruang pasaran di pasar tani di sekitar negeri ini pada tahun lepas.

Justeru katanya, usahawan di negeri itu perlu memanfaatkan peluang tersebut

agar lebih maju dan berdaya saing.

Pada majlis tersebut Mohd Ali turut menyampaikan cek pinjaman Tekun

berjumlah RM167,000 kepada 14 usahawan.

Festival selama dua hari itu yang bermula hari ini, mempamerkan pelbagai

produk keluaran usahawan tempatan termasuk golongan pelajar melibatkan 50 gerai.
