KUALA LUMPUR, 26 Mac (Bernama) -- Petronas Leadership Centre (PLC),

Kejayaan meraih anugerah itu bererti PLC diktiraf sebagai universiti

korporat terbaik yang "menggabungkan identiti, budaya dan jenama organisasi itu

ke dalam pemegang kepentingannya".

"Sebagai kesimpulan, anugerah itu mengiktiraf peranan PLC sebagai Universiti

Korporat Petronas, yang menonjolkan budaya korporat, jenama dan identitinya

melalui penyelesaian pembelajaran bitara untuk pemegang kepentingannya," kata

PLC dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif PLC Yasir Abdul Rahman menerima anugerah itu pada

majlis yang diadakan untuk julung kalinya di Paris, Perancis.

Pengerusi GlobalCCU Annick Renaud-Coulon dan ketua pegawai eksekutif Club

Med Henri Giscard d''Estaing serta pengerusi Microsoft Europe Jan Muehlfeit,

menjadi pengerusi bersama anugerah itu.

PETRONAS-ANUGERAH 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Anugerah GlobalCCU memberi pengiktirafan kepada universiti korporat terbaik

dari seluruh dunia yang mewujudkan nilai untuk manusia, perniagaan dan

masyarakat serta yang mencapai kecemerlangan tertinggi dalam profesion.

Kenyataan itu berkata Jawatankuasa Penasihat dan Penghakiman, yang

dianggotai pakar antarabangsa dalam profesion masing-masing, memilih pemenang

anugerah itu dalam kalangan finalis dari 19 negara.

Majlis penyampaian anugerah itu turut dihadiri duta Malaysia ke Perancis Tan

Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal.

Yasir berkata pengiktirafan global itu merupakan suatu kejayaan besar bagi

PLC, yang tidak mungkin dicapai tanpa sokongan Petronas.

"Anugerah ini juga mengesahkan bahawa kami melakukan sesuatu yang tepat.

Perjalanan ini akan kami teruskan sehingga kami mencapai tahap yang setara

dengan yang terbaik di dunia," katanya.

PLC meraih Anugerah GlobalCCU tidak sampai empat bulan selepas ia memenangi

Anugerah Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad sebagai Penyedia Latihan Terbaik

2012.

PLC ditubuhkan secara rasmi pada 10 Nov 2011 sebagai pusat kepimpinan, yang

menawarkan penyelesaian pembelajaran di luar lingkungan Petronas Group untuk

memungkinkan perkongsian dan capaian terhadap pengetahuan dan kemampuan

Petronas.
