PETALING JAYA, 13 Ogos (Bernama) -- PLUS Expressways Bhd (PLUS) memperkenal

jadual cadangan waktu perjalanan (TTA) bagi melancarkan lalu lintas di lebuh

raya sempena musim cuti perayaan Aidilfitri dan Hari Kemerdekaan.

Ketua Pegawai Operasi PLUS Mohammad Fuad Khusairi berkata langkah itu

bertujuan membantu orang ramai merancang perjalanan mereka menjelang perayaan

kali ini.

"PLUS menjangka jumlah trafik di Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan akan meningkat 30

peratus kepada 1.4 juta kenderaan sehari pada waktu puncak berbanding 1.1 juta

kenderaan pada hari biasa," katanya pada sidang akhbar di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata tahun ini, Plus turut mengekalkan jadual perjalanan dengan

membahagi kenderaan mengikut nombor pendaftaran ganjil dan genap bagi dua

jambatan iaitu di Tambak Johor dan Linkedua serta Jambatan Pulau Pinang.

"Bagi kenderaan dengan nombor plat ganjil dinasihat menggunakan dua jambatan

terbabit pada setiap jam ganjil, contoh 9 pagi, 1 petang dan 7 malam. Bagi

kenderaan bernombor plat genap, disaran mengikut setiap jam genap contohnya 10

pagi, 2 petang dan 8 malam pada sepanjang musim perayaan ini," katanya.

PLUS-JADUAL 2 PETALING JAYA

Beliau menasihatkan pengguna Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan agar mengikut jadual

TTA yang disediakan bagi memastikan kelancaran trafik.

Jadual perjalanan yang dicadangkan untuk pengguna dari Lembah Klang pulang

ke kampung menuju Utara dari Jumaat (17 Ogos) hingga Sabtu (18 Ogos) dan 30

hingga 31 Ogos ini ialah seperti berikut:-

* Perlis, Kedah dan Pulau Pinang sebelum 12 tengah hari;

* Taiping, Kuala Kangsar dan Changkat Jering antara 12 tengah hari hingga 3

petang;

* Ipoh, Simpang Pulai dan Gopeng antara pukul 3 dan 6 petang;

* Tapah, Bidor, Sungkai, Slim River dan Tanjung Malim selepas 6 petang.

Bagi perjalanan dari selatan pula, jadual yang dicadangkan bagi Johor

ialah:-

* Johor (melalui Skudai, Senai Utara, Ayer Hitam, Yong Peng dan Tangkak)

sebelum 12 tengah hari;

* Melaka melalui Ayer Keroh antara 12 tengah hari hingga 3 petang;

* Tampin dan Alor Gajah melalui Simpang Ampat antara 3 hingga 6 petang;

* Senawang, Port Dickson dan Seremban selepas 6 petang.

Mohammad Fuad berkata PLUS juga memperkenal jadual perjalanan pulang selepas

perayaan Aidilfitri iaitu bermula 21 hingga 26 Ogos dan 1 hingga 2 September.

"Bagi pengguna Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan serta Lembah Klang dinasihat memasuki

lebuh raya sebelum 12 tengah hari atau selepas 6 petang. Bagi perjalanan lain

yang tidak melalui Lembah Klang pula, antara 12 tengah hari hingga 6 petang,"

katanya.

PLUS-JADUAL 3 (AKHIR) PETALING JAYA

Mohammad Fuad juga berkata tahun lepas, 50 peratus pengguna lebuh raya

mengikuti jadual TTA yang dikeluarkan PLUS bagi membantu mengurangkan kesesakan

di lebuh raya sejak diperkenalkan pada 2007.

"Sejumlah 3,000 kakitangan PLUS dan 432 pasukan keselamatan terdiri daripada

anggota polis, Jabatan Pertahanan Awam, St Johns Ambulans dan Persatuan Bulan

Sabit Merah ditempatkan di 12 lokasi strategik sepanjang lebuh raya, manakala

153 pasukan PLUSRonda akan membuat rondaan selama 24 jam sehari, selain lebih

1,500 kaunter tol dibuka untuk memudahkan urusan pembayaran tol," katanya.

Orang ramai boleh mendapatkan maklumat trafik terkini di lebuh raya PLUS

menerusi talian bebas tol PLUSLine 1800-88-0000 dan laman Twitter

Selain itu, Plus memberi rebat tol sebanyak 30 peratus pada 15, 16, 22, 23

dan 31 Ogos bagi menggalakkan pengguna lebuh raya bergerak di luar waktu puncak

dan beralih kepada sistem pembayaran eletronik seperti Touch ''n Go serta Plus

Miles.
