Prevé and Exora Prime now in Thailand

Proton launches the Prevé and Exora Prime at the 2012 Thailand International Motor Expo.

The models were unveiled by Proton Holdings Berhad Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dato' Lukman Ibrahim at the 2012 Thailand International Motor Expo in Bangkok. Also present was Mr. Thawatchai Jungsanguanpornsuk, Managing Director of Phranakorn Auto Sales, the sole distributor of Proton cars in Thailand. After the unveiling, the Prevé and Exora Prime became officially open for booking in Thailand.

Speaking at the unveiling, Dato' Lukman said, "Both the Prevé, as well as the Exora Prime has raised and set the bar for Proton cars in all aspects encompassing key aspects such as safety, performance, comfort, build quality, technology, overall design and convenience.

"We've recently charted a new milestone by introducing the Prevé and Exora in Australia, hence the introduction of the Prevé in Thailand only a month reiterates our commitment and determination to strengthen ourselves as a reputable, trusted and preferred car brand in strategic markets such as Thailand. Our ultimate goal is to emerge stronger as a global car company by redefining Proton's products and brand," he continued.

Thailand is a very special market for Proton as the Malaysian cars are very popular in the passenger car market, frequently finishing in the top-10 of the sales charts.

Prices for the Proton Prevé start at THB625,000 for the manual Standard variant and go up to THB759,000 for the Premium variant with a CVT 'box. Proton is also offering a five-year/150,000km warranty, access to Proton's 24 Hour We Care Roadside Assistance, Medical assistance and Concierge Service for the Prevé.

The Exora Prime on the other hand is priced at THB899,000 and is available in Solid White and Tranquillity Black. Owners get a three-year/100,000km warranty, along with access to Proton's 24 Hour We Care Roadside Assistance, Medical assistance and Concierge Service. All prices are on-the-road inclusive of insurance.
