TEMERLOH, March 19 (Bernama) -- Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob

urged the private sector to employ physically challenged people to harness their

talents and skills.

He said this would enable them to earn an income and be self-reliant.

"They have special qualities which can be put to good use," he told Bernama

here today.

Adnan also advised parents of physically challenged children to send them to

skills training centres to enable them acquire skills to secure a better future

for themselves.

"The state government is also providing facilities for the physically

challenged, such as in the case of stairs, elevators and toilets," he said.
