KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Jun — Rafizi Ramli mendedahkan hari ini tiada acara akan diadakan di Padang Merbok pada 22 Jun ini, mencadangkan alasan diberikan Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib untuk tidak membenarkan perhimpunan Pakatan Rakyat (PR) #Black505 kerana tempat itu digunakan pada tarikh tersebut sebagai tidak benar.

Pengarah strategi PKR itu juga berkata, beliau secara peribadi menyiasat dakwaan Ahmad semalam dan mendapati Larian Olimpik McDonald anjuran Majlis Olimpik Malaysia (MOM) dijadualkan pada 23 Jun di Dataran Merdeka dan bukannya Padang Merbok.

“Menyemak laman Facebook MOM untuk mendapat maklumat lanjut mengenai Larian Olimpik McDonald ini,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.

“Didapati bahawa larian ini bukanlah berlangsung di Padang Merbok tetapi bermula dan berakhir di Dataran Merdeka,” tambah beliau lagi. 

Ahli Parlimen Pandan itu mengatakan siasatannya tidak terhenti di situ.

Untuk memastikan acara tersebut benar-benar akan diadakan di Dataran Merdeka yang bersejarah, beliau mengatakan turut menyemak laman sesawang Pacesetters Athletic Club Malaysia (PACM), turut terlibat dengan tersebut.

Di laman sesawang kelab itu, Rafizi mengatakan disahkan acara anjuran MOM itu akan diadakan di Dataran Merdeka, bukannya Padang Merbok.

“Akhir sekali, saya menyemak sendiri laluan larian dari borang pendaftaran yang disertakan. Berdasarkan laluan larian seperti yang ditunjukan di paparan skrin, jelas bahawa larian tersebut tidak menggunakan Padang Merbok sebagai tapak dan ia bermula dan berakhir di Dataran Merdeka,” katanya.

Rafizi menyatakan kekesalan terhadap Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) yang tidak memberikan jawapan jelas mengenai penggunaan Padang Merbok pada 23 Jun, mendakwa semata-mata kerana terpaksa tunduk kepada tekanan politik Umno dan Barisan Nasional BN).

Menurut Rafizi daripada siasatannya, jelas Padang Merbok boleh digunakan untuk perhimpunan #Black505 PR pada 22 Jun.

Pada sidang akhbar semalam, Ahmad menggesa PR untuk memilih satu lagi tempat untuk perhimpunan, sebaik-baiknya kawasan tertutup seperti stadium, mendakwa padang akan digunakan untuk “persiapan logistik” MOM pada 23 Jun.

Datuk bandar itu juga berkata mengadakan perhimpunan di tempat terbuka, tempat orang ramai akan menimbulkan gangguan trafik di jalan raya di sepanjang Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Kuching, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Raja dan Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

Beliau juga berkata DBKL tidak akan membenarkan perhimpunan PR kerana ia perlu untuk “melindungi” landskap di sepanjang Jalan Parlimen, yang katanya adalah “protokol jalan” telah dihiasi dengan landskap indah.

Tetapi Rafizi tidak bersetuju dengan semua kebimbangan Ahmad.

Beliau berkata, jika dakwaan oleh Umno dan BN perhimpunan aman hanya perlu diadakan di kawasan tertutup dan bukan tempat terbuka, ruang awam, Akta Perhimpunan Aman perlu ditukar kepada “Akta Perhimpunan Aman Dalam Stadium Sahaja”.

Beliau tidak bersetuju mengadakan perhimpunan di stadium akan menjadi lebih mudah bagi peniaga kecil, menegaskan ruang yang terhad di tempat-tempat tersebut.

Rafizi juga berkata adalah tidak masuk akal menolak perhimpunan PR kerana “melindungi” landskap di sepanjang Jalan Parlimen, menunjukkan acara larian Olimpik McDonalds meliputi kawasan yang lebih besar dan melalui kawasan berhampiran bangunan Parlimen.

Beliau juga berkata kebimbangan trafik tidak boleh digunakan sebagai alasan untuk menolak acara itu kerana larian itu juga akan menyebabkan penutupan jalan raya di beberapa kawasan.

“Jika pihak berkuasa boleh menutup jalan untuk mempermudahkan larian itu, saya pasti pihak berkuasa juga boleh menutup jalan untuk perhimpunan aman #black505 pada 22 Jun,” katanya.

Rafizi mengatakan pemimpin PR akan menghadiri mesyuarat dengan Ahmad pada 8.00 pagi pada 14 Jun akan tetapi tidak akan berganjak untuk mengatakan perhimpunan di Padang Merbok pada 22 Jun.

“Apatah lagi apabila terbukti padang itu tidak digunakan pada hari Sabtu dan Ahad minggu itu,” katanya.
