KUALA LUMPUR, 12 Jun – Perhimpunan #Black505 Pakatan Rakyat (PR) akan terus diadakan di Padang Merbok di sini pada 22 Jun walaupun Majlis Olimpik Malaysia (MOM) mengatakan semalam mereka akan menggunakan lokasi itu untuk larian mereka, kata Rafizi Ramli dari PKR hari ini.

Pengarah strategi PKR itu juga mengatakan Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) telah memberitahu PR bahawa Padang Merbok hanya ditempah dari 6.00 petang ke atas pada 22 Jun, bercanggah dengan kenyataan MOM semalam persediaan logistik untuk larian olimpik McDonald 23 Jun akan bermula pada 21 Jun.

“Pada mulanya DBKL beritahu kita hanya boleh tempah sehingga 6.00 petang oleh kerana selepas itu, acara lain akan diadakan di Padang Merbok pada keesokkan hari,” kata Rafizi kepada The Malaysian Insider hari ini.

“Kita boleh duduk dengan Majlis Olimpik untuk berbincang apa jenis susunan perlu untuk membolehkan kedua-dua program berjalan lancar,” katanya.

Setiausaha Kehormat MOM Datuk Sieh Kok Chi mengatakan semalam persiapan untuk Larian Olimpik di tengah bandar akan bermula pada 21 Jun selepas 3.00 petang dan 22 Jun selepas 6.00 petang.

Beliau berkata pelari akan melalui Padang Merbok, walaupun larian akan bermula dari Dataran Merdeka di sini pada 23 Jun.

Sieh berkata Larian Olimpik – yang diadakan setiap tahun pada 23 Jun sejak tahun 1994 dalam sambutan Hari Olimpik – akan melibatkan 15,000 pelari dan tempat telah ditempah semenjak akhir tahun lepas.

Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib menggesa PR pada Isnin untuk memilih satu lagi tempat untuk perhimpunan, sebaik-baiknya kawasan tertutup seperti stadium, mendakwa padang akan digunakan untuk “persiapan logistik” MOM pada 23 Jun.

Datuk bandar itu juga berkata mengadakan perhimpunan di tempat terbuka, tempat orang ramai akan menimbulkan gangguan trafik di jalan raya di sepanjang Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Kuching, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Raja dan Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

PR telah mengadakan perhimpunan besar-besaran #Black505 di seluruh negara semenjak 8 Mei untuk memperotes dakwaan penipuan dalam Pilihan Raya 2013 yang menyaksikan Barisan Nasional (BN) mengekalkan kuasa walaupun kehilangan undi popular.
