3 Okt- Bersyukur dikurniakan rupa paras yang jelita, pemenang pertandingan Pilih Kasih musim ketiga (PK3) , Reen Rahim anggap ianya satu bonus untuk mengejar impian menjadi pelakon yang disegani.

Pemilik nama sebenar Noreen Ashikin Abdul Rahim atau Reen Rahim, 24, walaubagaimanapun tidak menyalahkan mana – mana pihak jika dia lebih menonjol memegang watak jahat.

Dengan mukanya yang agak sinis dan dilihat sukar didekati, Reen Rahim menjelaskan bahawa situasi ini akan terjadi kepada mana – mana pendatang baru.

"Saya memang memiliki mimik muka yang agak sinis, tambahan dengan watak yang seringkali saya bawakan sebagai wanita jahat menyebabkan ramai berkata sebegitu.

"Tapi saya tidak salahkan mereka. Orang cakap "Tidak Kenal Maka Tidak Cinta", ramai yang berkata begitu pada mulanya namun bila sudah bercakap dan mengenali saya persepsi tersebut berubah dan kami menjadi kawan baik." Ujar Reen yang ditemui di set penggambaran filem terbarunya "Balun" di Taiping, Perak.

Menurut gadis yang berasal dari Klang ini, dia mengakui agak takut jika peminat dan masyarakat di luar sana melabelnya sebagai seorang yang 'jahat'.

"Saya takut juga sebab kebanyakkan watak yang saya jayakan majoritinya adalah wanita jahat. Bukan tidak mahu tapi saya merasakan watak jahat itu lebih senang dibawa.

"Manakan tidak, saya dari kecil gemar mengikuti perkembangan sinetron Indonesia dan mengambil watak wanita jahat yang jelita sebagai idola."

Dia turut memanjatkan kesyukuran kerana semakin hari semakin ramai yang mulai sedar akan kehadirannya dalam industri seni ini.

"Saya memang rasa gembira kerana selepas tamat sahaja Pilih Kasih, saya telah ditawarkan untuk berlakon. Saya harap tawaran ini akan berterusan demi mengukuhkan lagi perjalanan karier saya sebagai pelakon."

Mengimpikan dapat bekerjasama bersama idolanya Rosyam Nor dan Umie Aida, Reen Rahim tidak mahu popular dengan kontroversi murahan yang seringkali terpalit kepada pendatang baru sepertinya.

"Kalau boleh biarlah orang kenali saya melalui lakonan. Tidak mahu kontroversi ni, lagipun kepercayaan yang ibu bapa saya berikan besar untuk saya jaga setelah memasuki industri ini."

Dalam perkembangan lain, Reen Rahim bakal muncul dengan filem "Gangster Celop" tidak lama lagi dan kini sedang sibuk menjalani penggambaran filem aksi terbaru arahan Bob Singah berjudul "Balun" yang dijangka menemui penonton di pawagam pada pertengahan tahun 2013.
