If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to ride a top-notch superbike on the best rest tracks in the world, this is your chance.
Throughout 2013, Ducati and DG Sport will join forces to provide exciting test ride opportunities aboard the award-winning Ducati 1199 Panigale Superbike at top race circuits around Europe.
DG Sport is one of Europe’s leading Track Day organisers and, with over ten years of experience in putting together top race circuit packages, are perfectly positioned to provide events for all levels of riding experience on circuits such as Aragon, Spa-Francorchamps, Le Mans, Brno and Misano.
In addition to the track sessions, lucky participants at these events will have the unique opportunity to take part in the 1199 Panigale Experience, an unforgettable opportunity to sample Ducati’s top-of-the-range sport bike in its ideal environment.
The 1199 Panigale set new benchmarks in motorcycle design with the most powerful twin-cylinder engine in the world integrated perfectly into a super lightweight and innovative monocoque chassis. Its highly impressive 195hp engine is cleverly controlled by three electronic Riding Modes, offering three combinations of a number of top-flight technologies.
The latest-generation sports ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Electronic Suspension, Ducati Quick-Shift, race-derived Ducati Engine Brake Control and Ride-by-Wire are all programmed to provide smooth and continuous electronic assistance, ensuring an exciting and confidence-inspiring experience.
Each 20-25 minute test ride session at the events will be preceded by a 15-minute technical briefing, with the additional value of one instructor for every three riders. The instructors, all highly qualified by the Ducati Riding Experience, will follow participants through the briefing and track sessions, ensuring that all are guaranteed maximum safety and professionalism.
The events, which carry a discount for Desmo Owners Clubs’ members, will also have a Ducati Café providing refreshments and relaxation to all Ducati Card carriers and their guests. All event and reservation information is available at the Bikers’Days website Bikersdays.com.
